Zuo Yulin unintentionally saw Su Yushan's assistant talking to an internal spy from Wanfeng Group at the TV station. He saw the spy hand over Wanfeng Group's data to Su Yushan's assistant. Zuo Yulin noticed that the spy's watch and clothes were identical to Chen Chen's. He didn't make a fuss, but simply invited Chen Chen to dinner after work.
During dinner, Zuo Yulin kept subtly probing Chen Chen about his situation, and also asked him if he had any recent financial pressure. Shen Di's mother suddenly told Zhou Fang that she and Shen Di's father were planning to settle abroad and had decided to have Shen Di join them for school. Zhou Fang asked Shen Di to consider it carefully.

Zhou Fang thought it over and decided to sign with Song Lin, promising that she would absolutely not bring disgrace to him. Zuo Yulin was busy investigating Chen Chen and hadn't contacted Qin Qing all day. Qin Qing didn't know the reason and thought Zuo Yulin had grown tired of her, losing confidence in their relationship and considering breaking up with him.
However, Zhou Fang spoke up for Zuo Yulin, saying that he might just be too busy, and comforted Qin Qing, assuring her that Zuo Yulin would definitely call her to apologize in the evening. Song Lin's team and the overseas warehouse project had been progressing unfavorably. The Korean company was wavering between Wanfeng Group and Baisai Group.
Song Lin's team was a bit discouraged and didn't want to continue the project, but Song Lin analyzed the situation, stating that the Korean company was the most suitable partner for Wanfeng Group at the current stage, that the short-term effort was worthwhile, and that he wouldn't let Wanfeng Group make a losing deal. At school, Song Luo saw Shen Di looking downcast and asked him what was wrong.
Shen Di hesitated for a moment, then told Song Luo about his plan to study abroad. After Song Lin learned that Song Luo had skipped class, he asked Zhou Fang to go home and check on Song Luo, as he was busy with company meetings. After Zhou Fang, Song Luo, and Shen Di returned home, Song Lin was already waiting downstairs for Zhou Fang.

Chen Chen volunteered, wanting to go to South Korea with Song Lin, but Zuo Yulin interrupted Chen Chen, saying that there were still many things in China that Chen Chen needed to handle.
Song Lin also didn't let Chen Chen follow, only telling him to oversee the construction of the new domestic factory. After the meeting, Zuo Yulin found Song Lin and told him what he had seen at the TV station that day.
