While pretending to be in pain from his wound, he softly called out to gauge Chunhua’s concern, which she readily showed, calling him "Brother Qiuyue" and confirming her worry. During their time together, Qiuyue reminded Chunhua that she had once said the first man she saw was her Mr. Right, to which she confirmed he was that man for her. He expected praise, but Leng Ning harshly criticized him, accusing him of flirting and being experienced in observing women.
