Zhou Yue proposed a mirror reverse firing challenge, where they would stand with their backs to the targets and aim by looking into a mirror in front of them. This was a technique Shen Qingyuan had never practiced, but he accepted the challenge. Confident in his victory, Zhou Yue provocatively suggested Tang Xin livestream the match. When Tang Xin hesitated, he taunted her, implying she was worried about her boyfriend embarrassing himself.
Tang Xin sharply retorted, expressing her full confidence that Shen Qingyuan would win if he chose to compete. Before the match began, Shen Qingyuan asked Tang Xin for encouragement. Forgetting the livestream was still on, Tang Xin put down her phone and recited a rhyming cheer for him. Her heartfelt words were broadcast to all the viewers, who then clamored for her to cheer for them as well.
The competition commenced, and Shen Qingyuan initially struggled with the unfamiliar mirror reverse firing, scoring low on his first few shots. Tang Xin called him aside, reminding him that relying on the mirror was not his strength. He began consistently scoring over ten points, causing Zhou Yue to grow visibly anxious, while Tang Xin smiled with relief. On the final shot, a bead of sweat was visible on Zhou Yue's face. Shen Qingyuan closed his eyes and fired a crucial 10. 7-point shot, while Zhou Yue only managed 4 points. Shen Qingyuan emerged victorious to the cheers of the crowd.
As Xu Dian arrived downstairs, he heard the jubilant celebrations above and opened Tang Xin's livestream, watching her broadcast with an appreciative smile. Zhou Yue extended his hand to Shen Qingyuan, congratulating him on his comeback and reminding him of the Olympic spirit of friendship and mutual help. For the sake of the livestream camera, Shen Qingyuan shook his hand. Zhou Yue then quietly warned Shen Qingyuan that excelling at mirror shooting could adversely affect his regular performance.
With a slight smile, Shen Qingyuan retorted that Zhou Yue was the one who practiced it more often. Later, Xu Dian sought out Tang Xin, inviting her to a celebratory party hosted by his company and explaining it as an opportunity to expand her professional network. Although Shen Qingyuan continued to stride forward in anger, he eventually stopped when he saw Tang Xin struggling to keep up. He then sternly warned her to keep her distance from Xu Dian in the future. Tang Xin, noting his serious expression, nodded in agreement. Shen Qingyuan then took her hand, and they walked together towards a lake. By the lake, Shen Qingyuan impressively skipped stones across the water, earning Tang Xin's admiration.
He then picked up stones and taught her how to do it. Seeing his hands were cold, Tang Xin warmed them with her own, and Shen Qingyuan finally smiled, his anger completely dissipating. Meanwhile, Du Lingfeng approached Shi Xiaoci, confused about their situation. Shi Xiaoci firmly told him there was a significant gap between them and that she was not the sweet, understanding girl he perceived her to be.
Du Lingfeng, however, declared his intent to pursue her anyway, but Shi Xiaoci showed no interest in engaging with him. Du Lingfeng continued to follow Shi Xiaoci into a small wooded area, where he sprained his ankle. Shi Xiaoci kept walking, unfazed. Hearing Du Lingfeng's cries, Tang Xin came over and offered to take him to the infirmary. Du Lingfeng complimented her caring nature but limped off to continue pursuing Shi Xiaoci.
Watching him leave, Tang Xin glanced back at Shen Qingyuan and was amused to see he showed no signs of jealousy this time. She then realized that Shen Qingyuan was not jealous of just anyone, but specifically of Xu Dian. Later, Zhou Zuguang called Ding Fang. Assuming he was calling about their divorce, Ding Fang sarcastically remarked on his tendency to avoid issues.
Frustrated, Zhou Zuguang expressed his feelings of inadequacy compared to her successful career as a celebrated psychologist, who was widely praised online and offline, before angrily hanging up. Still upset, Zhou Zuguang called Tang Xin, insisting she attend the Zhengdao Media's celebratory party, emphasizing it as a vital opportunity to network with industry seniors. Tang Xin initially hesitated, citing her unfamiliarity with anyone there, but Zhou Zuguang reprimanded her, asserting that was precisely why she needed to go.
Separately, Xu Dian was preparing to go to the party with his colleague, Ai, when he received a call from Tang Xin. Feeling awkward about attending alone, Tang Xin asked if she could join him. Delighted, Xu Dian readily agreed and told Ai to get out of the car so he could pick Tang Xin up at the base gate.
