Shen Qingyuan refocused and, along with Shi Xiaoci, secured the championship. Afterward, Ai approached Tang Xin, sarcastically remarking that Tang Xin was brazen for watching the match despite not having work.
Tang Xin retorted that Ai's commentary was amateur and suggested she practice more. Soon after, a scandalous, heavily edited video of Tang Xin was circulated online, causing a stir. Shi Xiaoci was disgusted by the "cheap move," and as the team discussed it, Ai brazenly aimed her phone at Tang Xin to livestream her reaction. Tang Liqi immediately shut down the stream and angrily told her to leave.
During the medal ceremony, Ai, representing Rui Live's official sports channel, approached Shen Qingyuan for an interview. After getting an "OK" signal from Tang Liqi, Shen Qingyuan outwardly agreed but then directed all viewers to another livestream: "Rainbow Bear," Tang Xin's alternate account. He played the complete, unedited video, confessing that the man seen at the end was him, and declared, "I'm her boyfriend." Flustered by Shen Qingyuan's intense gaze and public confession, Tang Xin felt as if she were in a dream. As she stepped away to take a call from her boss, Zhou Zuguang, she overheard Jiang Yitian boasting to Tang Liqi. He claimed credit for Shen Qingyuan and Tang Xin's relationship, stating that he discovered Tang Xin possessed a pheromone irresistible to Shen Qingyuan and solved the "pheromone problem," which allowed them to live together and grow close.
Hearing this, Tang Xin became deeply disappointed, believing Shen Qingyuan was only with her because of the pheromones. Later, in Zhou Zuguang's office, Ai preemptively resigned, assuming Tang Xin had reported her. Ai admitted to fabricating the videos, stating she was tired of being a "nobody" and couldn't compete with Tang Xin, who was both Zhou Zuguang's confidante and Shen Qingyuan's girlfriend. Zhou Zuguang called Ding Fang to apologize for his past behavior, but their conversation quickly grew awkward. Ding Fang called Zhou Zuguang, who agreed to drive her there but noted he could only stay for a day or two due to work. This angered Ding Fang, who felt he always used work as an excuse. Shen Qingyuan later caught up with Tang Xin and invited her to the barbecue, which she agreed to attend.
At the party, Shen Qingyuan thoughtfully grilled food for Tang Xin, only for Tang Liqi to snatch it away, prompting him to go and make more for her. Throughout the party, Du Lingfeng's gaze never left Shi Xiaoci. As the party wound down, Jiang Yitian proposed a game of "Truth or Dare." In a quieter corner, Shi Xiaoci found Du Lingfeng drinking alone and reminded him that athletes should limit their alcohol intake.
Admitting he was upset about losing, Du Lingfeng confessed he had never acted this way, even in front of his father. He then downed the rest of his drink and told Shi Xiaoci that he knew he had flaws, was childish, and was just a backup, but he was genuinely trying to change. He then earnestly asked her to give him a chance.
