> Go Go Squid! Recap

Sun Yaya, concerned for Mi Shaofei after his recent retirement, visited him to ensure he was doing well. She found him relying on instant noodles and "Bixin" brand alcohol to pass the time. Yaya chastised him for his unhealthy diet, playfully teasing him about the meaning of the wine's name.

When Mi Shaofei mentioned his flight home was the day after tomorrow and he planned to watch K&K's quarterfinal match in Beijing, Yaya firmly refused to let him go, insisting he stay in Shanghai and taking him to watch the match with Tong Nian. At a restaurant, the three watched SP's Team One achieve victory in the quarterfinal competition.

Mi Shaofei expressed genuine happiness for SP, acknowledging that his replacement was due to talent and that he fully accepted the team's decision. Seeing his sincere love for the sport, Yaya tried to persuade him to remain in Shanghai and continue pursuing CTF through other avenues, such as live streaming or working for an internet company, to stay close to his passion.

Tong Nian, at Yaya's prompting, also encouraged him, citing former Team Solo members like Ai Qing, Han Shangyan, and Wang Hao, who, despite retiring, remained connected to the industry. Mi Shaofei suspected Tong Nian's advice was influenced by Han Shangyan, but she denied it, claiming it was for "someone." Convinced by their words and his own deep-seated dream, Mi Shaofei agreed to stay. Yaya immediately took charge, scheduling appointments with realtors to find him a rental apartment, dismissing his hesitations.

They toured several apartments. Yaya was meticulous, rejecting one due to noisy group tenants and another for its lack of security and dark hallways. Finally, they found an apartment that satisfied them both, though its ¥5,200 monthly rent, requiring one month's deposit and three months' prepayment, was a concern for Mi Shaofei. The realtor mistakenly assumed Mi Shaofei and Yaya were a couple, which they both quickly corrected.

Mi Shaofei confessed he hadn't given much thought to his future and felt the apartment was too large, preferring a smaller, temporary place. To help him envision a better future, Yaya made him sit down, close his eyes, and applied a face mask to him. She vividly described a cozy home filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals, a beloved pet dog, vibrant green plants, and beautiful music played by "someone who likes him very, very much."

Moved by this image, Mi Shaofei decided to rent the apartment. He offered to treat Yaya and Tong Nian to a celebratory dinner, but Yaya, still worried about Tong Nian's heartbreak, asked him to intervene with Han Shangyan, to which Mi Shaofei readily agreed. Back at the dorm, determined to spur Han Shangyan into action, Yaya saw Tong Nian packing Han Shangyan's K&K team uniform and other items, intending to return them.

Yaya suggested they take a picture of the uniform, then used Tong Nian's phone to post it on WeChat Moments with a caption declaring she was throwing away "worthless things." Upon seeing the post, Han Shangyan was visibly agitated. Memories of Tong Nian flooded his mind: her singing "Little Donkey," their date for game CDs, and his confession of her being his first love.

This emotional turmoil led him to a store, where he bought a collection of game CDs—many rare editions—as a "breakup gift" for Tong Nian. Returning to the K&K club, Han Shangyan was met by Wu Bai, who teased him about his extravagant spending, noting he gave an antique necklace when they were together and now a breakup gift. When Han Shangyan then asked to borrow more cash, Wu Bai jokingly called him an ATM.

Meanwhile, Mi Shaofei visited Han Shangyan at the K&K club to inform him of his decision to stay and to invite him to a housewarming party. Mi Shaofei mentioned that Yaya had helped him find the apartment, causing Han Shangyan to comment on Yaya's dedication as a fan.

Mi Shaofei clarified that Yaya's help was largely due to her friendship with Tong Nian and told Han Shangyan that he must attend the party, as the primary goal was to get him and Tong Nian back together. At the party, Mi Shaofei and Yaya conspired to create opportunities for Han Shangyan and Tong Nian. Mi Shaofei assured Tong Nian that Han Shangyan was unreliable in expressing his true feelings but insisted he loved Tong Nian deeply despite his actions.

When Han Shangyan arrived, Mi Shaofei feigned a broken intercom and sent Tong Nian downstairs to open the door, leading to a shy, awkward moment between them. Ou Qiang, who arrived with Han Shangyan, mistakenly addressed Tong Nian as "Sister-in-Law," which Han Shangyan quickly corrected, much to Ou Qiang's confusion. Wang Hao and his daughter, Little Ai, arrived next.

Wang Hao gave Mi Shaofei a generous red envelope and a bag of thoughtful housewarming gifts, including health remedies, which prompted playful banter among the group. Little Ai then innocently asked Tong Nian if she would consider dating Wang Hao, causing Tong Nian immense embarrassment and a visible stiffening of Han Shangyan's expression. To escape the awkwardness, Tong Nian offered to go to the supermarket. Mi Shaofei seized the chance, giving her an impossibly long list of heavy household items.

Han Shangyan intervened, pointing out that a small girl couldn't carry so much alone. Mi Shaofei then insisted Han Shangyan accompany her. At the supermarket, Tong Nian remarked on their last visit being on New Year's Day. Without a word, Han Shangyan proceeded to pick out all the snacks Tong Nian loved, subtly showing he remembered her preferences. After shopping, they returned to Mi Shaofei's building.

Han Shangyan announced he wouldn't help carry items upstairs due to urgent club matters, though he did joke about carpal tunnel syndrome before giving Tong Nian the bag of game CDs as his "breakup gift," claiming he'd bought them casually and some were rare. Tong Nian, dismayed, wished him well, but internally longed for him to stay for dinner. As Han Shangyan drove away, Yaya rushed to his car, demanding his phone.

She logged into K&K's new official website, which Tong Nian had single-handedly built—paying for the server herself and working sleepless nights—because the old site looked unprofessional. Yaya passionately urged "Gun God" Han Shangyan to see the dedication and "silent love" Tong Nian had poured into it, pleading with him not to torment her if he truly cared.

Alone in his car, Han Shangyan scrolled through the website, deep in thought, acknowledging Tong Nian's courage and his own lack thereof in love. He recalled his promise to Tong Nian's mother that he wouldn't bother Tong Nian or give her any romantic illusions. Back at Mi Shaofei's, the party continued with toasts to Mi Shaofei's new home.

Ou Qiang expressed envy over Mi Shaofei's loyal and beautiful female fan, while Mi Shaofei affirmed his understanding and appreciation for Han Shangyan's unspoken loyalty. Wang Hao attempted to comfort Tong Nian, explaining Han Shangyan was a workaholic and she shouldn't take his actions personally. Tong Nian quietly responded that it no longer mattered whether she minded or not. Suddenly, Yaya reminded Tong Nian about Zheng Hui's mother's surgery that day. Realizing her father was the head surgeon, Tong Nian apologized and promptly left for the hospital, declining Wang Hao's offer of a ride and insisting on taking a taxi.
