Yuan Song replied to Cai Minmin that whether he liked her or not was no longer important, and that Ye Luming was indeed more suitable for He Fanxing than he was. Cai Minmin, however, said that liking was the most important thing. Yuan Song asked Cai Minmin if she wanted him to pursue He Fanxing again.
Cai Minmin then reacted, saying that Ye Luming was almost forty years old, and Ye Caiwei was practically desperate to hold a nephew, so she told Yuan Song it was better not to continue pursuing He Fanxing. At the company, when He Fanxing finished packing her things and was about to leave, colleagues gathered around to say goodbye to her. Yuan Song, who was standing nearby, suddenly took the box from He Fanxing's hand and offered to escort her downstairs.
Downstairs, Yuan Song handed a few sheets of paper to He Fanxing. He Fanxing was a little confused. Yuan Song told her that his classmate's grandfather also had Alzheimer's disease and the papers contained some precautions. He Fanxing invited Yuan Song to visit her home and see her father. Yuan Song, however, refused, saying he would see her at the badminton court then. He Canyang came to the entrance of the restaurant where Cai Minmin worked to visit her.
Cai Minmin was overjoyed and specifically asked the manager for leave to treat He Canyang to milk tea. The two sat together and chatted. Cai Minmin mentioned that she had gone to see Yuan Song and asked He Canyang if he knew who Yuan Song's ex-girlfriend was. He Canyang did not tell the truth, and Cai Minmin also pretended not to know. He Canyang told Cai Minmin that he planned to transfer to the School of Fine Arts.
Cai Minmin thought He Canyang was going to break up with her. He Canyang quickly explained that he didn't want Cai Minmin to be gossiped about by the people around them. He Fanxing bought He Qingfeng a GPS tracking bracelet. As long as He Qingfeng wore it, she and He Canyang would know his location.
He Canyang and He Fanxing had the same idea and He Canyang also bought a bracelet, which happened to be given to He Fanxing's mother. Wang Jiacheng suddenly came to the He family home to visit He Qingfeng. As he was leaving, He Fanxing asked Wang Jiacheng a few questions, asking him how he was getting along with his wife now. Wang Jiacheng answered each question.
Wu Meiyin knew that He Fanxing had readily agreed to meet Yuan Song for badminton and felt something was off. Yuan Song also said that whenever He Fanxing agreed to something very readily, it was basically over, just like when He Fanxing readily agreed to attend his graduation party, but ended up breaking up with him at the party. Wu Meiyin felt that if Yuan Song was willing to make a commitment to He Fanxing, her family might not object.
Yuan Song, however, shook his head. He said He Fanxing cared about him, which was why she didn't want him to give up studying abroad for her. These were all things Yuan Song only gradually understood after breaking up with He Fanxing. Yuan Song felt that if they had publicly dated back then, it would likely have been a chaotic mess, and wouldn't have been any better than Aunt Wang's family. The two got drunk at a bar.
Song Yifan rushed to the bar and took them back home. When Ye Caiwei and Su Li were preparing to leave for the He family home, Ye Luming, however, had a last-minute meeting. Ye Caiwei was a little unhappy. She gave Ye Luming two hours and said she and Su Li would go to the He family home first. The He family didn't dare to be negligent in welcoming Ye Caiwei.
The whole family busied themselves with a chaotic big clean-up at home. He Fanxing's mother quickly asked He Canyang to go buy wine and asked He Fanxing to change clothes. As soon as He Canyang left, Ye Caiwei and Su Li arrived at the He family home. Ye Caiwei chatted with He Fanxing's mother about Ye Luming and Cai Minmin, and the two had a pleasant conversation.
Ye Caiwei always intentionally or unintentionally brought up the matter of Ye Luming and He Fanxing getting married. He Qingfeng and He Fanxing's mother quickly said that the two had been together for too short a time and getting married shouldn't be rushed; it was better to let them spend more time together.
While He Fanxing's mother and He Fanxing were preparing vegetables together in the kitchen, He Fanxing's mother felt Ye Caiwei had a sharp tongue; if it were forty years ago, she would definitely be a popular matchmaker. He Fanxing's mother saw how easily He Fanxing had allowed Ye Caiwei to visit her father and thought He Fanxing was pregnant and was rushing to get married.
He Fanxing quickly denied it, but He Fanxing's mother still felt He Fanxing was hiding something from her. He Canyang came back after buying wine and found his parking space occupied. So he called someone to move the car. Just then, Ye Luming also arrived downstairs at He Fanxing's place. He saw that the person occupying He Canyang's parking space was his cousin Su Li.
Su Li also happened to come down, recognized He Canyang, and told Ye Luming that He Canyang was Cai Minmin's boyfriend. Ye Luming was greatly surprised. When the two families were eating together, He Fanxing noticed the strong tension between Ye Luming and He Canyang. She pulled He Canyang aside at his place and asked if his secret relationship had been exposed. Seeing he couldn't hide it anymore, He Canyang had no choice but to admit it.
He Fanxing asked He Canyang when he planned to break up with Cai Minmin. He Canyang, however, was unwilling. The two started arguing. Finally, he agreed to He Fanxing that as long as she married Ye Luming, he would break up with Cai Minmin. After Cai Minmin found out, she was extremely angry and felt that Ye Luming and He Fanxing would definitely get married. Ye Luming sent Ye Caiwei to the airport.
Ye Caiwei told Ye Luming that He Fanxing had plans to get married and even wanted Ye Luming to plan the proposal ceremony. Ye Luming, however, couldn't be happy. As soon as Ye Luming got home, Cai Minmin rushed into the room and started packing her things, planning to leave for Liu Zhanni's place. The two started arguing, neither giving way to the other.
While He Fanxing and Yuan Song were resting after playing badminton at the court, Yuan Song joked that He Fanxing might also get senile dementia in the future. He Fanxing was a little angry. She said she was particularly sensitive to the word "dementia" and told Yuan Song not to provoke her.
