Yuan Song asked Ye Luming if he had a girlfriend. Cai Minmin said she only had a potential aunt-in-law, and that the person her uncle liked already had a boyfriend. Cai Minmin showed Yuan Song the photo of Ye Luming and He Fanxing, and also talked about how Ye Luming had given He Fanxing the necklace before. Yuan Song looked at the photo and the necklace, feeling as if struck by lightning.
After Yuan Song found out about the things Ye Luming had been doing behind the scenes, he angrily went to Wu Meiyin to talk about his troubles. Seeing that Yuan Song still couldn't let go of He Fanxing, Wu Meiyin told Yuan Song to go chase He Fanxing back, advising him to put down his so-called self-esteem. He Fanxing was sitting in Song Xue's car. Song Xue looked at He Fanxing's unhappy expression and comforted her a few times.
He Fanxing originally thought she could be mature and calm, but she was still very sad. Yuan Song didn't understand why He Fanxing still broke up with him when he had given up studying abroad. Wu Meiyin said that Yuan Song had put too much pressure on He Fanxing, and He Fanxing wasn't confident or ready to respond to Yuan Song's feelings. Wu Meiyin advised Yuan Song that breaking up just because he studied abroad was just his assumption, and that studying abroad and love could be had at the same time.
On the way back home, Ye Luming and He Fanxing talked. He Fanxing said that she was worried that Yuan Song wouldn't go study abroad, but she was no longer in a position to persuade Yuan Song. Ye Luming suggested that He Fanxing try being with him, saying that if He Fanxing developed feelings with him, perhaps after Yuan Song gave up hope, he would obediently go study abroad. He Fanxing, however, felt that developing feelings was too deliberate.
Ye Luming told He Fanxing to take her time considering it and not to feel too much pressure. He Fanxing returned home. Aunt Wang quickly pulled He Fanxing aside and showed her the blind date information she had collected for He Fanxing. He Fanxing was annoyed by the nagging, so she said that she already had a suitable person. He Fanxing told her parents that she planned to try being with Ye Luming. Mom He and Dad He were a little surprised and worried that He Fanxing was just lying to Aunt Wang.
