Danyin sat face to face with the Chidi Woman, excitedly sharing her happiness. But unexpectedly, killing intent suddenly rose in the Chidi Woman’s eyes, and with a swing of her blade, a splash of blood appeared on the window lattice. Fortunately, it was just a hallucination—Danyin was still talking in front of her. The Chidi Woman grew increasingly irritable, hastily stood up to avoid Danyin, and urged her to leave quickly.

In the stillness of the night and the gloom of the sky, intrusive thoughts seemed to thrive. The Chidi Woman curled up in a corner, covering her ears, but those eerie voices would not go away. Hearing the commotion, the guards came to check, but by then, the Chidi Woman had lost her senses. When she calmed down, her sword was stained with blood, and the guards lay motionless on the ground.

News of the Chidi Woman’s primordial spirit being corrupted by demonic energy reached Lord Yunzhong and Lord Changheng. Lord Yunzhong dismissed it as the ravings of a madwoman, but Lord Changheng believed it was related to the demon god Taisui. After several exchanges, Lord Changheng realized that all Lord Yunzhong cared about was the war between the two tribes. Unexpectedly, Lord Yunzhong didn’t bother to hide it and even warned Lord Changheng not to create unnecessary trouble.

Lord Yunzhong ordered the execution of the Chidi Woman, and Die Yi quickly informed Rong Hao. Late at night, Li Yuan came to Danyin’s room to tuck her in. Danyin slowly woke up, puzzled by why her father was visiting so late. Li Yuan simply reminded her that if he were ever gone, she must take care of Jie Li. Danyin found her father’s behavior strange. After he left, she hurried to ask Jie Li what was going on.

But no matter how much she asked, she couldn’t get any answers, so she quietly followed her father. Li Yuan arrived at the Abyss of Karma, preparing to open the Heavenly Prison to release Rong Hao. But unexpectedly, Danyin appeared and stopped him. As father and daughter argued, Die Yi picked up the jade token and opened the prison. By the time they reacted, Li Yuan had already been struck down.

Danyin was furious and anxious, trying to stop Rong Hao. But Die Yi took Li Yuan hostage, intending to silence both of them. In the critical moment, Jie Li suddenly appeared, pretending to still be a spy from Haishi. When Die Yi lowered her guard, Jie Li suddenly reversed her grip on the sword and pointed it at her. Li Yuan settled his two daughters in a room, intending to surrender to Lord Yunzhong alone.

But Danyin insisted on going with him, so Jie Li had no choice but to knock her out. When Danyin woke up, it was already too late, and she blamed Jie Li. Jie Li was not angry, because she didn’t regret anything she had done. But with Die Yi dead, she had no antidote. Seeing the Goddess approach, Dongfang Qingcang hurried to greet her.

The Goddess told him that she already knew—he and Orchid had shared a romance and nearly became husband and wife. Lord Changheng had told her everything. But the Goddess was not Orchid, and Orchid would never come back. To Dongfang Qingcang, however, the Goddess in front of him was Orchid.

The Goddess had no choice but to confess: back then, the Arbiter had hidden her by disguising her as an ordinary orchid, concealing the true form of the sacred Xilan herb. Orchid was merely a weak memory attached to that illusion. Now that the illusion had been shattered, Orchid had dissipated along with it. Dongfang Qingcang lowered his head, unwilling to accept what the Goddess said. But no matter how he explained, he couldn’t convince her—or himself.

Carrying the poisoned Jie Li on her back, Danyin went to Xishan to seek the Goddess’s help. On the way, Jie Li finally called her “sister. ” The Goddess agreed to treat Jie Li and learned about the situation in Shuiyuntian from Danyin. She quickly went with Lord Changheng to the cave, but the demon god Taisui had already vanished. Shang Que tried to restrain his emotions, but he couldn’t suppress his concern for Jie Li.

Yet Jie Li didn’t want his forgiveness or to be entangled with him again. She felt unworthy of Shang Que’s beautiful love. Danyin tried to comfort Jie Li, but she too felt inferior in love. She knew that Lord Changheng loved Orchid, not the Goddess, but didn’t understand why he still intended to marry the Goddess. Lord Changheng didn’t say much—only that he was willing to bear all the consequences.
