She couldn't understand—if Dongfang Qingcang had truly been deceiving her all along, why would he say such things to her now? He could have continued to lie, keeping her in the dark.

Dongfang Qingcang explained that the vows he made with her by the sea were only because she still had value to him. But now, he had found a better option. Heartbroken, Orchid turned away and left. Perhaps only at that moment could Dongfang Qingcang show a pained expression. He closed his eyes tightly and instructed Xun Feng to take care of Orchid.

No one understood what had happened, they could only kneel devoutly. Lord Changheng knew this was the grace of the Goddess of Xishan—but his Orchid would never return. Rong Hao thought his master’s remaining soul would vanish with Orchid’s death, but fortunately, the Chidi Woman’s soul returned to his hands.

Dongfang Qingcang rushed toward Orchid. Once the almighty Moon Supreme, he now looked utterly wretched and devastated. But it was all just a dream while he was unconscious. When Shang Que awoke, Jie Li told him everything that had happened and admitted she was a spy for Haishi. Shang Que was shocked, angry, and furious, but no matter what, he couldn’t bring himself to hurt Jie Li.

He could only watch her walk away. Meanwhile, the Chidi Woman finally awoke, but she seemed to have forgotten the past, remembering only fragmented scenes.
