Run Yu presented Xu Feng with Jin Mi's belongings, believing he was on the verge of death due to the Qiong Qi's backlash and intending to return the Heaven Realm to Xu Feng. However, Xu Feng revealed that he had transmuted Qiong Qi using the Chixiao Sword and Glazed Pure Fire, saving Run Yu's life. Suddenly, Xu Feng suffered a counter-attack from his golden elixir.

He confessed to Run Yu that he had discarded the Peng Yu, unwilling to live alone without Jin Mi. Xu Feng declared that he saved Run Yu so that he would endure millennia of solitude, atoning for his sins. As Xu Feng walked away, Run Yu watched his retreating figure, tears of despair falling.

Three years later, Xu Feng had abdicated his position as Demon Lord and resided in the humble grass hut in the mortal world where he and Jin Mi had experienced their mortal tribulation. He spent his days cultivating flowers and relentlessly searching for Jin Mi. Run Yu occasionally visited, joining Xu Feng for drinks and conversation. On one such visit, they shared the last bottle of osmanthus wine, personally brewed by Jin Mi before her demise, both treasuring it deeply.

Run Yu reflected on his three years as Heavenly Emperor, realizing that his role demanded detachment from personal joy and sorrow. He recognized that since no one would walk by his side, he must embrace this solitude. He urged Xu Feng to open Jin Mi's keepsake box, but Xu Feng feared that seeing its contents would only deepen his sorrow. After Run Yu departed, Xu Feng finally opened the box. Inside, he found reminders of his and Jin Mi's past.

Her paintings, all depicting his silhouette, intensified his heartache. He was consumed by regret, recalling the misunderstandings and painful moments in the Demon Realm, wishing he had been more proactive in their relationship. As he hugged himself in despair, he suddenly heard Jin Mi's voice calling his name. In the Floral Realm, all the flowers bloomed vibrantly, signaling the re-formation of Jin Mi's primordial spirit. Yet, just as quickly, the blossoms withered, indicating that her spirit was once again scattering.

Chief Peony immediately commanded the opening of the Time Gallery, rallying everyone to rescue Jin Mi. Meanwhile, in his grass hut, Xu Feng's hands were unexpectedly grasped. He turned to see Jin Mi, his heart overwhelmed as tears streamed down his face. He repeatedly questioned if she was truly there. Jin Mi explained that she had been by his side for three years, experiencing all that he saw and heard, as if they were one.

She promised never to leave him again, but her form began to dissipate even as she spoke. Xu Feng desperately pleaded with her not to depart, but Jin Mi told him she was merely a teardrop in his eyes, and their separation was inevitable. With a final farewell, she vanished. Xu Feng rushed to the Time Gallery to confront Chief Peony, lamenting that despite searching the six realms, Jin Mi had been within his very eyes all along.

Their brief reunion had ended in another painful separation. Xu Feng realized that his golden elixir's counter-attacks had ceased for three years because Jin Mi, while residing in his body, had absorbed the internal cold energy, inadvertently healing him. In the process, she had gradually condensed into a tear, refining her true form, which allowed her self-salvation.

Although uncertain when they would meet again, Xu Feng swore to the heavens that he would scour all six realms to find Jin Mi and never part from her again. Five hundred years later, in a small mortal city, a wedding procession was underway for the daughter of Tangyue Mansion. The bride was known for her lifelong fascination with ghosts and demons, and later, with cultivation, always contemplating how to enter the demonic path rather than become an immortal.

As the procession moved, Xu Feng appeared in his magnificent phoenix form, startling and scattering the crowd, then strode towards the palanquin. Jin Mi, having saved the six realms from chaos, had accumulated immense merit, which allowed her to retain her memories upon rebirth. They embraced, and Xu Feng declared that she would be his wife for all eternity.

One year after their reunion, Xu Feng and Jin Mi's son, Tangyue, was born, and the family lived a blissful and tranquil life in the mortal world. Liu Ying's daughter, Qing Tian, now 510 years old, had her heart set on a handsome Kunlun disciple and was preparing to go "rob" him to be her husband.

Five hundred years prior, Liu Ying had inherited the title of Demon Lord from Xu Feng and had since meticulously governed the Demon Realm, guiding its inhabitants towards a new era of discipline and strength. During a celebration, she thoughtfully named a new flower species, cultivated by the Water Immortal, "Iris," a tribute to her beloved Qi Yuan. Meanwhile, Sui He, who had been exiled to the desolate wilderness, had become mentally deranged.

She had wandered into the prison of the King of Yan City's son, succumbing to her own folly. Run Yu remained the supreme Heavenly Emperor, yet he still grappled with a profound sense of emptiness and unfulfilled desires, despite possessing everything. Kuang Lu and the Beast of Dreams steadfastly remained by his side, patiently waiting for him to recognize the love and companionship before him.

Though Jin Mi's eyes still perceived the world in black and white, the radiant presence of Xu Feng and their child filled her heart with the most vibrant and splendid scenery, far surpassing any colors she might otherwise see.
