Gu Zi Chen returned home fuming, directly confronting his father in his office about disbanding his scientific research group. His father admitted to it, claiming it was for Gu Zi Chen's future as the heir to Hao Cheng Enterprise. Gu Zi Chen, however, accused his father of always imposing his own ideas, expressing his deep dislike for such authoritarian control and stating that he felt suffocated by years of having to live according to his father's expectations.

He asserted that he would rather "break his head" than be controlled, believing they were "not in the same world." Later, a despondent Gu Zi Chen found himself outside Su Nian Nian's home. He silently promised himself that if Su Nian Nian appeared then, he would pursue her. As if on cue, Su Nian Nian emerged, standing by her window, lost in thought. She questioned whether her decision to return to Qun Ying was the right one.

Startled by her sudden appearance, Gu Zi Chen quickly hid to avoid being seen. Meanwhile, Ye Xing Yu visited Su Nian Nian at her house, warmly welcomed by her father. He apologized on behalf of Zhao Mingyuan, Zhu Cheng, and Chen Yuan (The Three Remarkable of Qun Ying) for locking her in the equipment room.

Su Nian Nian revealed she had actually seen Zhu Cheng mopping outside the room at the time but hadn't reported them, partly because she had initially intended to drop out. She agreed to forgive them, but made it clear that she was returning to school and "won't be bullied by them," declaring her lifelong habit of doing things to the best of her ability. Ye Xing Yu, remarking on her "strong woman" demeanor, expressed his confidence in her leadership.

Ye Xing Yu then met up with Gu Zi Chen, and they discussed Gu Zi Chen's ongoing conflict with his dictatorial father. The Three Remarkable of Qun Ying soon arrived, anxious to know if Su Nian Nian had accepted their apology. Ye Xing Yu confirmed her return and urged them to apologize in person, which Gu Zi Chen found shameful, mocking their previous actions.

Zhao Mingyuan then proposed they enlist Ye Xing Yu for a planned fight against rivals that evening. Gu Zi Chen openly ridiculed the idea of them, grown men, engaging in a schoolyard brawl, but then offered to discreetly adjust their deducted credits if they promised to show genuine remorse to the teachers and, crucially, to stop targeting Su Nian Nian.

After some initial skepticism from Zhao Mingyuan, Chen Yuan and Zhu Cheng convinced him that Gu Zi Chen's "strategy" was sound, and they reluctantly agreed. Su Nian Nian returned to Qun Ying with renewed resolve. Her friends, Song Yuxi and Yin Chu Xia, excitedly greeted her, having heard the news through the school's efficient "intel." Zhu Cheng, hoping to offer a peace offering, had bought two "cute" hamsters and placed them under Su Nian Nian's chair as a surprise.

During the first class, Mr. Jiang Mu officially welcomed Su Nian Nian back, announcing her important new mission: to lead the class in studying and to help establish a new, comprehensive academic system, with the ultimate goal of making Mechanical Class II a role model for Qun Ying.

Su Nian Nian then presented her strict new study plan, which included mandatory library self-study three times a week, at least four night-study sessions of three hours each, and an hour of daily practice in the equipment room, with credit deductions for any violations. The students were visibly disheartened, perceiving these measures as excessively harsh.

Mr. Jiang Mu, however, fully endorsed the plan and dramatically warned against non-compliance by breaking a piece of chalk, stating that rule-breakers would suffer the same fate. Back at her desk, Su Nian Nian discovered the hamster cage. Screaming in terror, she accidentally threw it onto the table. Song Yuxi, finding the hamsters adorable, was overjoyed and suggested they keep them in the dorm, even playfully naming them "Male God No. 1" and "Male God No. 2."

Zhu Cheng, realizing his mistake, apologized for not knowing her fear, yet was secretly pleased that Song Yuxi liked his gift. In the following days, Song Yuxi became obsessed with the hamsters, much to Su Nian Nian's annoyance. Su Nian Nian encountered Gu Zi Chen again, firmly stating her return to Qun Ying was her own business and that she was "full of battle power."

Gu Zi Chen, though still in conflict with his father (as revealed during a phone call where he refused to back down), privately admitted to being happy about her return. During the first mandatory night-study session, many students were still disengaged, but Su Nian Nian diligently urged them to focus. The Three Remarkable of Qun Ying received an anonymous message ordering them to publicly embarrass Su Nian Nian.

Zhu Cheng was reluctantly pushed to confront her first, but he only managed to ask a genuine question about a problem, failing to embarrass her. Frustrated, Zhao Mingyuan then openly reported He Xiao for cutting hair in class to distract Su Nian Nian. As she stepped down from the podium to address He Xiao, Zhao Mingyuan deliberately tripped her. Su Nian Nian fell, scraping her hand badly.

Ye Xing Yu, witnessing the incident, was furious with Zhao Mingyuan, reminding him of his promise. He immediately took Su Nian Nian to the infirmary, where Dr. Jin bandaged her hand and advised regular dressing changes. There, Ye Xing Yu revealed he had attended Dong Zhou High School and had known Su Nian Nian from afar, observing her dedication in competitions. Su Nian Nian, not remembering him, was surprised.

She then complained about Gu Zi Chen, attributing past misfortunes to him, including a car accident. Ye Xing Yu, however, clarified that Gu Zi Chen was not the culprit in that accident and had actually taken her to the hospital. Su Nian Nian remained skeptical, claiming Gu Zi Chen still "owed" her. Later, Zhao Mingyuan received another anonymous message.

Feeling guilty about Su Nian Nian's injury, which he hadn't intended to be so severe, he discussed with his friends his initial plan: to observe the class to identify who was truly behind the anonymous "orders." He suspected the instigator was either from their class or someone previously penalized. Zhu Cheng then suggested they stop all such mischievous actions, a sentiment Zhao Mingyuan surprisingly agreed with, recognizing the potential for more serious harm.
