Synopsis
Adapted from You Sijie's novel of the same name, the drama tells the story of Xie Qingyuan, who lost her mother in childhood and ended up on the streets, and Shen Run, who was exiled to the army due to family misfortune.
The two made a pact to survive. As adults, Xie Qingyuan returns to her family to investigate her mother's wrongful case, while Shen Run, as a high-ranking official, is tasked with probing corruption in Qiantang. Reunited, they join forces to uncover the truth.
