Mo Huaiyang furiously scolded Gu Xiang, calling her a witch who seduced Cao Weining. Cao Weining repeatedly defended Gu Xiang, but Mo Huaiyang refused to listen. On the spot, he twisted Cao Weining's head 360 degrees. Cao Weining collapsed to the ground, dead before he could utter a word. Gu Xiang rushed forward and held him in her arms, wailing in grief.

At Mo Huaiyang’s command, disciples of the Qingfeng Sword Sect swarmed forward and slaughtered all the Ghost Valley members who came for the wedding. Hearing the drum signal, martial artists from various sects who had been lying in ambush outside Ghost Valley stormed in. A fierce battle broke out. Gu Xiang wiped away her tears and fiercely engaged Mo Huaiyang. Unfortunately, she was injured.

Despite the pain, she pressed on him relentlessly, only to be gravely wounded by his wild sword strikes. Wen Kexing came out upon hearing the news and saw Gu Xiang lying in a pool of blood. Enraged, he shouted in fury. Zhou Zishu, Luo Fumeng, Liu Qianqiao, and others also came to reinforce. Liu Qianqiao personally killed Yu Qiufeng, but was stabbed through from behind. It turned out all of this had been orchestrated by the Scorpion King.

He even had Zhao Jing brought in to witness the scene. The Scorpion King summoned the army of drugged men to Ghost Valley, intending to annihilate both the Ghost Valley members and the martial artists from all sects in one fell swoop. Gu Xiang struggled to get up and tried to assassinate Mo Huaiyang, but lacking strength, she was overpowered.

Mo Huaiyang took the chance to seize her and forced Wen Kexing to hand over the armory key and the Glazed Armor. Wen Kexing had no choice but to agree. Just as the army of drugged men arrived, Mo Huaiyang threw Gu Xiang aside and fled in panic. Wen Kexing picked up Gu Xiang, but due to severe blood loss, she was on the brink of death.

She begged Wen Kexing to avenge Cao Weining by killing Mo Huaiyang, then she closed her eyes forever. Wen Kexing was devastated and inconsolable. Wen Kexing laid Gu Xiang and Cao Weining together and personally placed the phoenix crown on her. Mo Huaiyang tried to break out of the drugged men’s ranks, cursing the Scorpion King in his heart. Wen Kexing quickly caught up. Mo Huaiyang drew his sword to attack, and Wen Kexing countered with his folding fan.

The two fought intensely. Wen Kexing was wounded but managed to blind Mo Huaiyang and kill him on the spot. Seriously injured, Wen Kexing leaned against a tree to rest. The Scorpion King arrived with the Poison Bodhisattva, retrieving the three pieces of Glazed Armor from Mo Huaiyang’s body. The Poison Bodhisattva wanted to kill Wen Kexing, but the Scorpion King insisted on doing it himself.

Zhou Zishu arrived just in time and pressed his sword to the Scorpion King’s throat. The Scorpion King tried to negotiate, and Zhou Zishu agreed to hand over the Glazed Armor in exchange for taking Wen Kexing away. The Scorpion King was satisfied and left with his men. Wen Kexing reached out for Zhou Zishu but passed out from exhaustion. The Scorpion King launched the drugged men to attack Ghost Valley at Qingya Mountain, killing all sect leaders.

Duan Pengju highly praised his actions and eagerly moved to open the armory. Wen Kexing, in a daze, dreamed of Gu Xiang offering him tea. But he felt weak and couldn’t open his eyes. As she was leaving, Gu Xiang told him to take care of himself. Wen Kexing suddenly woke and chased after her, but no one was there.

Thanks to Da Wu and Jing Beiyuan’s help, the corpses of Gu Xiang and Cao Weining were taken out of Ghost Valley. Zhou Zishu and Zhang Chengling buried them. Wen Kexing remained unconscious. Knowing he had little time left, Zhou Zishu didn’t want Zhang Chengling or Wen Kexing to watch him die, so he asked Zhang Chengling to take care of Wen Kexing while he set off to stop Prince Jin from opening the armory.

Da Wu realized something was wrong and checked Zhou Zishu’s pulse, discovering he had already removed all the Nails of Seven Torments from his body. But even Da Wu couldn’t save him. Zhang Chengling was heartbroken and wanted to find the Yin-Yang Manual to save Zhou Zishu, but Zhou Zishu persuaded him not to waste his efforts.
