Long Xiao angrily confronted his father, Long Que, questioning why he withheld information about the Yin Yang Book in the armory, which Long Xiao believed could cure his disability and reverse life and death. Long Que insisted the book lacked such power, having told his son this countless times.

Long Xiao retorted that his father had relocated Longyuan Cabinet for his deceased wife and endured years of suffering for his "dead good friends" like Rong Xuan, yet refused to open the armory for his own living son, whom he had allowed to be a "wreck for over a decade." Unable to tolerate Long Xiao's rants, Wen Ke Xing threw a hidden weapon, silencing him by damaging his throat.

Ye Bai Yi then pressed Long Que about his connection to Rong Xuan and the past events. Long Que acknowledged that his wife, Yu Zhui, had been introduced to him by Yue Feng Er, the senior disciple of the Healer Valley, also known as Fairy Ganoderma. The revelation that Yue Feng Er was Rong Xuan's wife shocked Zhou Zi Shu and the others.

Wen Ke Xing directly asked if Rong Xuan had deceived Long Que into building the armory or if Gao Chong had coerced him to open it, as Long Xiao had claimed. Long Que vehemently denied these accusations, stating he willingly helped Rong Xuan reconstruct the armory and that no one had ever forced him to open it. This information stunned Wen Ke Xing, who harbored deep hatred for his father, believing him to be a villain.

Zhou Zi Shu was careful not to reveal Wen Ke Xing's identity to Long Que. Zhou Zi Shu then requested the full truth about the armory. Long Que began his account by explaining that Qin Huai Zhang, Zhou Zi Shu’s master, was the first among their group to befriend Rong Xuan. Subsequently, Long Que and others became acquainted with him, spending carefree years traveling the Jianghu, upholding justice and fighting evil.

Long Que emphasized that while Rong Xuan was their leader, the armory was a collective effort, built by all of them for him. Learning that Zhang Cheng Ling was the son of his old friend, Zhang Yu Sen, Long Que was saddened to hear that Zhang Cheng Ling's father had died protecting the Glazed Armor. He stressed that acquiring the Glazed Armor was pointless without Rong Xuan's key, as the armor was merely a lock.

Ye Bai Yi grew impatient and aggressively demanded to know the key's location. Long Que steadfastly refused, citing an oath he had sworn. Wen Ke Xing attempted to intervene, but Ye Bai Yi angrily insisted on knowing the truth about Rong Xuan's death, startling everyone by declaring Rong Xuan was his disciple. Long Que was shocked by this revelation.

He then recalled that Rong Xuan had instructed his wife, Yue Feng Er, to find a way to send the Glazed Armor key to his master on Mount Changming, along with a full explanation and an apology on his behalf. Meanwhile, Zhao Jing triumphantly placed Gao Chong’s memorial tablet in an ancestral hall, among rows of other deceased martial artists, including Rong Xuan. He openly expressed his satisfaction, recalling how he was once belittled and manipulated by them.

He cursed Rong Xuan for his "foolish" idea of the armory and berated Gao Chong for his past decisions. Zhao Jing gloated that he, the sole survivor among the armory’s original builders, had now achieved his lifelong ambition to lead the Five Lakes Alliance, asserting his perceived superiority and declaring that only he could make the alliance prosper. After revealing his connection to Rong Xuan, Ye Bai Yi demonstrated a sword technique.

Long Que, recognizing the martial art, identified him as Ye Bai Yi, Rong Xuan’s legendary master, and was deeply moved to find him still alive. Seeing Ye Bai Yi's preserved youth, Long Que was astonished by the power of the Combined Six Cultivation Method. Long Que's eyes gleamed as he fondly recalled the bygone days.

He clarified that Qin Huai Zhang had initially discovered the ancient underground palace that became the site of the armory, which Long Que then skillfully adapted. He also revealed that the Glazed Armor and its accompanying key were collected by Qin Huai Zhang and his friends during their earlier travels. Long Que then described a fateful duel where Rong Xuan challenged Zhao Jing, Gao Chong, Shen Shen, Lu Tai Chong, and Zhang Yu Sen.

During the skirmish, Gao Chong inadvertently wounded Rong Xuan with a sword tainted with Triplex Corpses Poison. In her fury, Yue Feng Er immediately banished the five companions. Since the armory required all six individuals—five holding pieces of the Glazed Armor and Rong Xuan possessing the key—it remained unopened after their falling out, with the Combined Six Cultivation Method still inside.

Desperate to save her beloved husband, Yue Feng Er resorted to using the forbidden Yin Yang Book from the Healer Valley, an act against the natural order, which tragically drove Rong Xuan into madness. Long Que explained that the Yin Yang Book's "raising the dead, reversing Yin and Yang" effect came at a horrific cost, requiring the heart of one living person to restore another's life force.

In his deranged state, Rong Xuan accidentally killed Yue Feng Er, his beloved wife. Overwhelmed by remorse, he lost his last vestiges of sanity, becoming completely demonized and subsequently hunted by the entire martial arts world. Knowing she could never return to the Healer Valley due to her use of a forbidden art, Yue Feng Er had entrusted Zhen Ru Yu and his wife to seek a cure for Rong Xuan at her sect.

She also gave them the armory key. However, this was too late. When Zhen Ru Yu rushed back to Mount Qingya, Rong Xuan was already surrounded and gravely wounded by Jianghu factions who, under the pretense of hunting a demon, were mostly coveting the armory's key. Zhen Ru Yu pleaded with them, offering to take Rong Xuan back to the Healer Valley for healing and to atone for Rong Xuan's sins for the rest of his life.

However, Rong Xuan, in his madness, struck Zhen Ru Yu unconscious, then fought the crowd until he was killed. With Rong Xuan dead and no key recovered, the Jianghu turned their attention to Zhen Ru Yu, demanding the armory's secret. Zhen Ru Yu, torn between loyalty to his friend and filial piety to his sect, refused to divulge anything.

These self-proclaimed righteous martial artists, using "good and evil cannot coexist" as an excuse, coerced the old valley chief to disown Zhen Ru Yu. In truth, they intended to use the Healer Valley to pressure the Zhen couple. Adding to the tragedy, the Healer Valley's second disciple and his wife associated with bandits, leading to their expulsion by the old valley chief, who later passed away. The once-renowned Healer Valley subsequently retreated from the Jianghu.

Long Que, learning of these events too late, deliberately spread the false rumor that Longyuan Cabinet held a method to open the armory. He did this to draw attention away from the Zhen family, who had vanished with the injured Zhen Ru Yu and their infant son, hoping they would remain hidden and safe from the Jianghu's greedy pursuit.

Wen Ke Xing was profoundly touched by Long Que's unwavering righteousness, and Zhou Zi Shu was equally moved by his tale of loyalty and sacrifice. Ye Bai Yi offered to fulfill any of Long Que's wishes. Long Que, however, appeared resigned, stating he had no desires except for death. He then questioned why Ye Bai Yi, being Rong Xuan's master and having mastered the technique, never taught it to his gifted disciple.

Long Que suggested that Rong Xuan's eventual theft of the book was understandable for a martial arts enthusiast drawn by the allure of "unity of man and nature." Ye Bai Yi dismissed Rong Xuan as a fool and vehemently stated that the Combined Six Cultivation Method was a dangerous art, which was why he had never taught it.

He expressed deep regret for not destroying the book earlier, calling its very name, "Tian Can Di Que" (Crippled by Heaven and Earth), a warning. Long Que, understanding the weight of Ye Bai Yi's words, glanced at his own disabled son, Long Xiao, and let out a profound sigh.
