Yang Hua was allowed to go home for a meal by his mother. During the meal, she expressed approval of Qin Shi and agreed to their marriage. However, she hoped the couple could nurture their relationship, so she wanted her son to live with Qin Shi. Yang Hua discussed this with his friend Cai Liang and planned to fake cohabitation to appease his mother.
Since he didn’t have money, he asked Cai Liang to help rent an apartment and cover the rent for now. Yang Hua called Qin Shi to get his luggage. She also asked him if there was anything wrong with Lowe Yulan. With Yang Hua’s hint, Qin Shi also became suspicious of Lowe Yulan’s ties to Helowei International. She asked Lao Qiao to delay signing the contract with the Women's Entrepreneur Association.
Qin Shi then asked Wu Fei to pause her current tasks and help investigate Lowe Yulan. However, after a full day of investigation, they found nothing, which frustrated Qin Shi.
