Prodigy Healer Episode 11 Recap
> Prodigy Healer Recap
President Ye, observing the blossoming affection between his daughter Ye Yunshang and Mu Xingchen, expressed his delight and inquired about their future plans. A shy Ye Yunshang, her feelings exposed, quickly retreated. Mu Xingchen explained to President Ye that he could not make such a significant decision about marriage on his own due to his family's strict rules. Ye Yunshang, having overheard his comments, initially felt upset and ignored him.
Mu Xingchen then clarified his predicament to her, explaining that his tribe's rules were extremely strict. He recounted how his own uncle had nearly faced execution years ago for eloping with a woman from outside their tribe, emphasizing that no one, including himself, could defy these traditions. Despite this, he earnestly promised Ye Yunshang that she was the only one in his heart and that he would always stay by her side.
Reassured by his words, Ye Yunshang's smile returned, and she made him promise to keep his word. Shortly after, a young woman interrupted their intimate moment, claiming Mu Xingchen for herself and accusing Ye Yunshang of having ill intentions, before Mu Xingchen quickly dismissed her. Mu Xingchen and Ye Yunshang decided to visit Qiao Zhen Tian, who had been injured while protecting Ye Yunshang. Upon arriving at the Qiao family mansion, they found Qiao Zhen Tian's injuries were not severe.
Qiao Zhen Tian's mother expressed her worry and anger, scolding her son for risking his life for Ye Yunshang and reminding him he was their only child. When Ye Yunshang tried to express her concern, Madame Qiao was initially hostile, suggesting that Ye Yunshang should have been the one hurt. Qiao Zhen Tian interjected, asking his mother to be polite to their guest. However, when Mu Xingchen arrived, Qiao Zhen Tian immediately feigned severe discomfort.
Mu Xingchen, observing Madame Qiao's pale and tired appearance, noted her symptoms of exhaustion and offered Ye Yunshang's medical expertise, which Madame Qiao gratefully accepted. Mu Xingchen then directly addressed Qiao Zhen Tian, pointing out his stable condition and confronting him about the fire in the quarantine area.
He revealed that the fire was orchestrated by someone who intended to kill everyone, frame Qiao Zhen Tian, and instigate a conflict between the Qiao and Ye families by ensuring Ye Yunshang's death. Mu Xingchen identified Fujiwara as the likely mastermind, explaining that Fujiwara sought to profit from the discord, especially since the Ye family's antidote production and Qiao Zhen Tian's forced detoxification efforts were disrupting Fujiwara's lucrative drug trade.
Recognizing their shared enemy, Qiao Zhen Tian agreed to cooperate with Mu Xingchen, stressing the importance of unity against the Japanese, as internal conflicts had always led to their defeat. He insisted that their alliance and the information about Fujiwara must remain a secret, especially from Ye Yunshang.
However, Qiao Zhen Tian couldn't shake his feelings for Ye Yunshang and provocatively asked Mu Xingchen if he had ever kissed her and if he had influenced her decision to break their engagement. Mu Xingchen evaded a direct answer, merely stating that one should not force someone to marry. He then took Ye Yunshang by the hand and left, leaving Qiao Zhen Tian seething with unanswered questions.
Mu Xingchen led Ye Yunshang to a picturesque spot, telling her he wanted to show her the most beautiful scenery in the world. He lifted her into his arms, soaring through the air. As he gazed at her charming smile and rosy lips, he felt a strong urge to kiss her, but ultimately managed to hold back.
Meanwhile, Shangguan Yunxuan looked at an old photograph of his mother, reflecting on her sudden disappearance years ago and his father's silence on the matter. He longed to know her whereabouts and well-being. Increasingly suspicious of his father's behavior, Shangguan Yunxuan remembered a map his father possessed, which was now missing. Relying on his memory, he painstakingly redrew the map. Following the marked locations, he discovered a crystal cave.
Inside, he found a female corpse, which he carefully documented with his camera. Later, he approached his father's secretary, Secretary Wang, for additional documents, hoping they would provide clues to his mother's fate. Separately, Qiao Zhen Tian's father expressed his concerns about a chronic illness, fearing he wouldn't live past fifty. Qiao Zhen Tian reassured him that he would find a cure. Later, Qi Fei stealthily appeared at the medical clinic.
Mu Xingchen, upon checking his pulse, noted his stable condition and questioned his reason for visiting. Qi Fei then confessed he was there to cure his stutter. Mu Xingchen gave him a smooth stone, instructing him to hold it in his mouth and recite poetry for an hour daily, promising a cure and offering three pieces of gold if the method failed. Qi Fei diligently followed the instructions, but in his excitement, he accidentally swallowed the stone.
Ye Yunshang, exaggerating the risks, warned him of severe complications such as stomach infection, perforation, bleeding, and even death if the stone wasn't quickly removed. A terrified Qi Fei pleaded for help. Mu Xingchen presented him with a quantity of oil, assuring him it would help pass the stone. Despite drinking it all, there was no change. Qi Fei then admitted he had been constipated for several days.
Mu Xingchen subsequently fed him uncut leeks, which finally helped Qi Fei pass the stone. Overjoyed, Qi Fei proudly displayed the cleaned stone, even jokingly offering to put it back in his mouth. Mu Xingchen observed that Qi Fei's stutter was gone. Although still experiencing stomach discomfort, Qi Fei confirmed his speech was clear and hurried off to the bathroom again, leaving Ye Yunshang to comment on the unusual yet effective treatment.
