Due to Lin Hao's leg injury, Zhu Ying reassigns tasks. Lin Yimu takes over a shoot, while Han Xue seizes the opportunity to request Lin Husheng as her partner for a trip to Nanshatan, aiming to win him over and become the chairman's daughter-in-law. Zhu Ying stays at the company and sends Li Huizhen to work with Bai Haoyu. Bai Haoyu is visibly disappointed to be paired with Li Huizhen and remains cold toward her.
Li Huizhen attempts to break the silence by initiating conversation, but Bai Haoyu finds her noisy and unwelcoming. In contrast, Han Xue and Lin Husheng enjoy a harmonious journey, with Han Xue actively trying to impress him and even muting or turning off his phone while he sleeps to ensure no one disturbs them. Feeling hungry, Li Huizhen finds a local farmhouse restaurant online.
Both she and Bai Haoyu are drawn in by its rustic charm and natural ambiance, though Li Huizhen later suspects it might be an overpriced establishment. They enjoy the farm-style dishes. During this time, Xia Qiao calls Bai Haoyu, who is in the restroom. Li Huizhen answers, and upon hearing her voice, Xia Qiao is startled and quickly hangs up.
When it's time to pay, Bai Haoyu realizes he forgot his wallet, and Li Huizhen doesn't have enough cash to cover the bill. Li Huizhen tries to call Xia Qiao for help, but Xia Qiao's phone is charging and she misses the call. Bai Haoyu offers his branded watch as collateral, but the restaurant boss dismisses it as a cheap item. With no other options, the boss demands they work to pay off their meal.
Li Huizhen quickly agrees to avoid further trouble. Li Huizhen and Bai Haoyu begin doing farm chores. In their inexperience, they feed human food like milk and fruit to the pigs and sheep, and even use the boss's wig to incubate eggs, much to the boss's initial anger. However, the boss's wife returns and, being more reasonable, understands they are not trying to default on payment.
She allows them to leave, requesting they settle the bill on a future visit, and even provides them with clean clothes after seeing their messy state. Meanwhile, while recovering at home from his injury, Lin Hao is visited by Yaling and Nana, who invite him to dinner. Vivian also joins them, admitting she recently ended a relationship and is feeling melancholic. Vivian then offers to treat everyone to a better meal.
