Oh! My Emperor Season 1 Episode 4 Recap
> Oh! My Emperor Season 1 Recap
Emperor Beitang Yi and Prince Chen, Beitang Moran, met, with Beitang Moran inquiring about his dancer held captive by the Emperor, after the last time Luo Feifei got lost. Beitang Moran stated that his dancer's actions should not be construed as treason and requested her release, promising to discipline her. Emperor Beitang Yi responded by expressing his desire for military leadership, which Beitang Moran said could be obtained by completing two tasks.
The first was to collect ten thousand signatures within three days. The second task was to initiate a competition among the four constellation masters after collecting the signatures, with the winner receiving military leadership. Before departing, Beitang Moran hoped to have his dancer back by the following night. That night, Second Prince Beitang Tang decided to rescue Luo Feifei from prison, with the Emperor's tacit approval.
The jailers, under instruction, turned a blind eye, and Beitang Tang successfully freed Luo Feifei, telling her she owed him a favor for saving her. Meanwhile, constellation masters Zhang Tianzheng and Mei Daren discussed the Emperor's wager with Prince Chen. Mei Daren, observing that Polaris looked dim, believed the Emperor's chances of reclaiming military leadership were slim.
Zhang Tianzheng, however, felt the Emperor would get the leadership back, and they placed a bet on whether the Emperor could collect ten thousand signatures in three days. Zhang Tianzheng, frustrated by past losses to Mei Daren, intended to use his constellation power to prevent the Emperor from succeeding, despite knowing it was exhausting.
The next day, Second Prince Beitang Tang told Luo Feifei about the bet between the Emperor and Prince Chen, and Luo Feifei, believing that Emperor Beitang Yi ("Jia Cheng") had arranged her rescue, offered to help collect the signatures. Their initial attempts on the street were unsuccessful. Luo Feifei then proposed a plan where Beitang Tang would offer free hugs in exchange for signatures, which proved highly effective.
However, just as they were approaching five thousand signatures, Chu Shengnan, the Leo Constellation Master, appeared and confiscated the signatures, claiming she needed to cross-check handwriting against a spy's letter and would return them the day after tomorrow, making them useless for the deadline. Undeterred, Luo Feifei devised a new strategy: a "Zodiac State Run Game" (tearing name tags), where the collected name tags would serve as the ten thousand signatures.
After a full day, they successfully collected all the name tags and were counting them. Luo Feifei expressed her joy at finally seeing "Jia Cheng," prompting Beitang Tang to realize she had fallen for his brother. Luo Feifei did not deny it and urged him to focus on counting the name tags.
