> Oh! My Emperor Season 1 Recap

As the two opposing armies faced off, Luo Feifei, confined to the main camp, grew restless, eager to witness the unfolding battle. However, Emperor Beitang Yi insisted she remain safely hidden, reminding her of the danger she faced as Xie Yanran's impersonator and promising to secure their military authority once the conflict concluded. Meanwhile, on a separate front, Master Su Xunxian strategically confronted Master Fang Jian.

Master Su, alone with his qin, played a tune and used vague statements about his "hidden soldiers" to sow doubt in the naturally suspicious Master Fang, effectively stalemating him and preventing any rash actions. Elsewhere, the tension between General Chu Shengnan and Lord Bai Wuchen, who were ostensibly battling Prince Tang, was more comical. Prince Tang expressed his exasperation, remarking that they seemed to be "flirting" and that their forces had merely "fed" instead of truly fighting.

In stark contrast, Master Mei and Master Zhang Tianzheng were so at ease they engaged in a bet on the outcome of the confrontation, with Master Mei confidently predicting Beitang Yi's victory and wagering a month's supply of "spring eggs." The mock battle between General Chu Shengnan and Prince Tang’s forces devolved into farce as soldiers from both sides comically feigned injuries and collapsed en masse, much to General Chu’s frustration.

Luo Feifei, observing the scene, was completely bewildered by the soldiers' sudden 'injuries' and attempted to make them stand up. General Chu explained that the soldiers were "dead as you're marked," a concept Luo Feifei evidently struggled to grasp. As the Star Lord tournament officially commenced, a dangerous new element emerged.

Unidentified infiltrators, later revealed to be black-clad figures who used Ophiuchus people for poison testing, secretly infiltrated Prince Chen's army and attacked Beitang Yi’s troops with real weapons while disguised as Prince Chen's soldiers, causing immediate casualties. Beitang Yi’s subordinates reported that Prince Chen’s soldiers were using real weapons, leading Beitang Yi to believe Prince Chen had brazenly violated the competition rules. Simultaneously, Prince Chen Beitang Moran was also informed that "unknown people" had blended into his own ranks.

Believing the provocation came from Prince Chen, an enraged Beitang Yi rode directly to Beitang Moran’s camp to confront him, leading to a direct one-on-one duel, precisely as the instigators intended. During their duel, Su Xunxian arrived, delivering dire news: the previously disappeared "crazies," or Ophiuchus berserkers, had reappeared. Simultaneously, the black-clad figures, using a flute, caused the Ophiuchus berserkers to become delirious, making them rush wildly into the battlefield, causing widespread chaos and heavy casualties.

Upon learning of this new threat, Su Xunxian and Fang Jian, who were still stalemated, promptly withdrew their troops. Recognizing the overwhelming external threat, Beitang Yi immediately ceased their duel, admitting defeat and expressing his willingness to fight alongside his uncle, Beitang Moran, against this common enemy. This act deeply moved Beitang Moran, who then revealed the true purpose of his earlier actions.

He explained that after the previous Emperor's assassination and Beitang Yi's rushed ascension, he had taken control of the military to protect the realm and had been testing Beitang Yi’s judgment in the face of powerful adversaries. Convinced that Beitang Yi had now "completely passed" this crucial test, Beitang Moran decisively handed over full military authority to Beitang Yi.

With their differences set aside and military authority unified, Beitang Yi and Beitang Moran's reconciliation greatly boosted the morale of the allied forces. Beitang Yi stepped forward to lead the combined armies against the rampaging berserkers. However, just as he was giving the command to attack, an arrow from a black-clad figure struck him down. Luo Feifei, witnessing the attack, rushed to his side, desperately calling for help. Seeing Beitang Yi wounded, Beitang Moran swiftly picked up the fallen token of command and immediately took charge, rallying the soldiers to continue the fight.
