Oh! My Emperor Season 1 Episode 2 Recap
> Oh! My Emperor Season 1 Recap
Luo Feifei awakened to find herself dressed in ancient clothes within Prince Chen's mansion in the Zodiac State. Unaware of how she arrived, she believed she was part of a reality show, asserting that her presence there without consent was illegal imprisonment. Her maid, Xiaojiao, explained that Prince Chen, Beitang Moran, had brought her back from the palace. When her modern backpack was returned, Luo Feifei found her electric baton still inside.
She grabbed it and attempted to escape, pursued by the mansion's staff. Cornered, she reluctantly threw a flowerpot at her pursuers. To everyone's surprise, Master Fang, a Lord of Scorpio, found his own powers failing in her presence, allowing the pot to strike him on the head. Disbelieving he could be hit by an ordinary girl, he demanded she try again. Despite him actively using his abilities, her throw connected once more, knocking him unconscious.
Su Xunxian, witnessing the scene, mocked Master Fang for his foolishness in intruding upon Prince Chen's mansion. Beitang Moran then ordered Master Fang's wounds to be dressed before he was sent back, and invited Luo Feifei into his chambers. Inside, Luo Feifei introduced herself, but her modern references and questions about the current year and dynasty puzzled Beitang Moran, making him suspicious of her origins. Luo Feifei expressed her desire to leave, worried about being absent from her hospital job.
Sensing her hunger, Beitang Moran offered her a lavish meal, and she, attracted by the delicious spread, agreed to stay. After Luo Feifei settled down to eat, Beitang Moran confided in Su Xunxian, revealing that Luo Feifei was the woman he had foreseen in his astrolabe—the one whose fate was closely intertwined with the future of the Zodiac State. Meanwhile, Emperor Beitang Yi summoned Master Fang. Fang reported that when he approached Luo Feifei, his powers had become completely uncontrollable.
The Emperor, revealing he already knew of this possibility, dismissed Fang and instructed his guard, Bai Wuchen, to monitor Luo Feifei closely and report any developments. Later, while Luo Feifei was eating, a young child snatched a piece of quail from her plate. Angered, Luo Feifei chased the child, who effortlessly slipped through a dog hole in the wall. Luo Feifei, however, became stuck trying to follow.
Observing this, Beitang Moran, wanting to test her and see what she would do next, instructed General Chu Shengnan to kick her the rest of the way through. Freed from the mansion, Luo Feifei found herself on the streets with no money. She began asking passersby for directions to the palace, learning from vendors that it was the "Auspicious Day," a time for romance when people exchanged "marriage sachets."
Elsewhere, Xie Yanran, the thoughtful daughter of the Prime Minister, was summoned to the palace by the Grand-Empress, who proposed that she marry Emperor Beitang Yi. Though Beitang Yi was uncomfortable with the arrangement, Xie Yanran wisely declined, suggesting they postpone any marriage plans for two years. She argued that a good queen should allow her husband to focus on consolidating his power, impressing the Grand-Empress with her sense and maturity.
At the same time, the second prince, Beitang Tang, was enjoying the "Auspicious Day" festivities. His charm attracted many young women who showered him with sachets, and he was forced to flee when a particularly forward woman chased him. While running, he collided with Luo Feifei. The commotion caused Luo Feifei to finally notice she was being secretly followed by Bai Wuchen. Mistaking her tail for a pervert, she resolved to find a way to shake him off.
