Beitang Yi approached Luo Feifei, asking if she was worried about him. Feifei, however, retorted that he was incredibly pure. Beitang Yi then announced his decision to reward Feifei with the Constellation Service Department for her efforts, entrusting her with the responsibility of maintaining the Constellation Palace. Feifei privately mused that he was truly a chump.

Meanwhile, Yanran sat painting, praised by her maid Xiaohe for her subtle strength and meticulous detail, even questioning if she was using one of her "108 unknown skills." Yanran dismissively replied that she no longer engaged in such activities, finding Xiaohe's constant chatter annoying. Xiaohe noticed Yanran seemed distracted and asked if "that wicked girl" had upset her. Yanran immediately corrected Xiaohe, asserting that Feifei was her friend, describing her as nice, smart, and thoughtful.

Xiaohe, worried, cautioned Yanran, the future empress, that Feifei might usurp her position with the Emperor and advised her to eliminate Feifei using her various skills. Yanran sighed, saying she wished she could, but admitted that if Feifei genuinely liked His Majesty, she would be willing to propose Feifei as a Noble Consort, as she didn't hate her and could even envision them spending leisure time together.

Xiaohe despaired, believing Yanran was hopeless, fearing her master would blame her for not helping. Yanran then leaned in, asking Xiaohe if there was a way to quickly foster affection between a man and a woman. Xiaohe immediately suggested keeping them in the same room overnight. Yanran, pleased, affirmed she had a plan. Later, Feifei celebrated finally having her own single room, relieved to no longer share a small wooden bed.

Yanran, having entered Feifei’s room invisibly, commented on Feifei’s easy satisfaction. Feifei, startled, asked when Yanran had arrived, to which Yanran reminded her of her extraordinary ability of invisibility. Feifei praised her ability to come and go freely. Yanran, however, clarified that her parents restricted her public appearances. She then invited Feifei to go hiking with her in a few days. Feifei expressed a desire to go but lamented her status as a palace maid prevented her from leaving.

Yanran assured her she would handle everything. Feifei, delighted, asked where they were going. Yanran promised to take her to the most beautiful place in Zodiac State for a wonderful day. Feifei, excited, hoped "Dragon Egg Beitang Yi" wouldn't find out, fearing she would lose her new room. Yanran confidently stated His Majesty wouldn't know, then added cryptically, "Well, it depends."

Elsewhere, Beitang Tang asked Beitang Yi about his hiking plans, then casually inquired if his brother had ever read the "Whoring Encyclopedia," suggesting he should. Feigning an urgent need to relieve himself, Beitang Tang instructed Beitang Yi to wait, promising a surprise later. Soon after, Beitang Tang led Beitang Yi to a burrow, a refuge built by the Prime Minister during wartime, explaining its historical significance. Beitang Tang then mysteriously remarked, "Then I have to marry Yanran."

Leading Beitang Yi to a specific spot, he exclaimed, "Brother, I know a secret. Look at it, look, there," before pushing Beitang Yi into the pit. Beitang Tang feigned concern, asking if his brother was alright and promising to call for help, then quickly departed. Meanwhile, Yanran led Feifei to the same location, instructing her to go down carefully after telling her a story. Feifei willingly descended into the darkness.

Inside the pit, Feifei was shocked to find Beitang Yi already there, and he was equally surprised. Beitang Yi immediately accused Feifei of conspiring with Yanran because she liked him, suggesting she thought she could do anything since they were trapped together. Feifei scoffed, denying his claims and telling him not to flatter himself or show off like a peacock. Beitang Yi, realizing Yanran had seemingly tricked him, suspected Feifei had been waiting for him there.

As Feifei stretched her numb legs, Beitang Yi attempted a clumsy "kabe-don" against the wall. Feifei, amused, demonstrated the correct way, calling him a "chump." Above ground, Xiaohe nervously watched them, whispering to Yanran not to get caught peeping by His Majesty, noting that it wasn't easy for the two to be trapped there, hinting at the potential for a "long night, just a man and a woman."

Satisfied with the progress, Yanran instructed Xiaohe to pull up the ladder, trapping them securely. Feifei complained to Beitang Yi about him taking up too much space. Beitang Yi asked if she was cold, then suddenly confessed his feelings, claiming she was the most different girl he had ever met, and that he was addicted to her every move, her smile, her beauty, and even how she pouted when angry. Feifei playfully mimicked pouting, which seemed to fluster Beitang Yi.

Realizing their dire situation, Feifei exclaimed they couldn't get out and would die there. Beitang Yi agreed, prompting Feifei to shout for help at the top of her lungs. Her cries attracted an Ophiuchus granny and her granddaughter. The granddaughter recognized Feifei as the one she had saved on the street. However, upon hearing they were Ophiuchus people, Beitang Yi's demeanor hardened, stating that Ophiuchus people were cold-blooded like snakes and wouldn't help.

Feifei defended them, suggesting they might have their own difficulties. The granny initially turned to leave with her granddaughter, but the granddaughter pleaded with her to save them, concerned they would starve. Though hesitant, the granny relented and returned to help, lowering the ladder that Yanran had used. After being rescued, Beitang Yi, picking up a jade pendant from the ground, apologized, admitting he was wrong about Ophiuchus people.

Feifei, having twisted her ankle, told Beitang Yi she couldn't walk, hinting at being carried. Beitang Yi wryly noted she had already asked him once before. Feifei playfully retorted that he was fatter, to which Beitang Yi retorted that she and her whole family were fatter. Despite the playful jabs, Beitang Yi gently told her not to move and stated, "I like it," as he carried her on his back.

They followed the granny and her granddaughter back to the Ophiuchus village. News spread rapidly that a baby had been born, prompting excitement among the villagers. A woman informed the granny that it was a joyous event for the entire village whenever a child was born. Feifei, eager to see the newborn, expressed her desire to the granny. However, Beitang Yi, who had previously shown disdain for Ophiuchus people, stopped her from going.
