Fu Zi was determined to help Hao Zeyu return to his spirited self, as he remained gloomy, moody, and withdrawn following Teng Dan's death. She stubbornly pursued him, clarifying that her efforts were solely for Teng Dan's sake. Fu Zi explained that Teng Dan had withheld the truth from Hao Zeyu precisely to prevent him from becoming so self-pitying and letting her down. However, Hao Zeyu seemed unwilling to understand Teng Dan's reasons, retreating into himself in utter despair.

After a quarrel with Fu Zi, Hao Zeyu disappeared, prompting Fu Zi's father (Fu Baba) to scold her. Fu Baba, learning that the idea of hiring a psychologist for Hao Zeyu had come from Zhao Xiaobei, angrily accused Niu Meili of being misguided, having problematic conduct, and problems in her head. Niu Meili, who was at home reading psychology books, was bothered when Fu Baba banged on her door and angrily confronted her, leading her to drive him away.

Despite the conflict, Fu Zi remained deeply worried about Hao Zeyu, recalling Dr. Wang's words. Early the next morning, Fu Zi urgently left home, using a spare key to enter Hao Zeyu's apartment, but he was nowhere to be found. Fu Zi and Fu Baba searched frantically everywhere they could think of.

Realizing Hao Zeyu might have gone to the cemetery, Fu Zi rushed home to retrieve the sweater and a suicide letter Teng Dan had left for him, then headed to the place where Teng Dan's memorial service was held. There, she found Hao Zeyu sitting alone, his eyes empty and face ashen. Relieved to have finally found him, Fu Zi apologized for her harsh words the previous day.

She declared her intention to employ "aversion therapy" with him: the more annoyed he became with her presence, the more she would stay by his side, promising that if he endured, he would buy her a grand gift. Fu Zi then handed Hao Zeyu Teng Dan's suicide letter. Taking a deep breath, Hao Zeyu tore open the envelope.

The letter, though starting with common sentiments, implored Hao Zeyu to live each day as if it were his last, to cherish those around him, and not to blame others but to get back on his feet and pursue what he loved. Teng Dan expressed no regrets about knowing him, only a reluctance to leave, and joy at seeing how much he had grown during their last encounter at the film set.

Reading her words, Hao Zeyu finally broke down, tears streaming down his face as her every word pierced his heart with unbearable pain. Fu Zi gently tugged at his sleeve, telling him it was about to snow and they should go home. Hao Zeyu remained silent but rose and walked ahead of her. When Fu Zi asked where he was going, he replied, without turning, "home." On their way back, it began to snow heavily.

Fu Zi, hearing that wishes made during the first snow were especially potent, pulled Hao Zeyu to make wishes together. Though Hao Zeyu initially seemed dismissive, he joined her, putting his hands together in sincere prayer. Hao Zeyu then told Fu Zi that he planned to pursue what he loved in the future, suggesting he might want to become a teacher, and decided to stay in Beijing because he enjoyed being with her and their family.

Fu Zi affirmed her full support and respect for whatever decision he made. Playfully, she teased him, saying they didn't like being with him, then coquettishly asked him to spin circles with her in the snow. Hao Zeyu, despite finding it childish, joined her, and they spun together, finding peace and joy as the snow seemed to wash away all their gloom.

Upon their return home after dark, they were startled to find Fu Baba waiting at the door with a broom, ready to strike Hao Zeyu. Fu Zi quickly intervened to stop him. Moments later, Fu Zi received a phone call announcing that the funding for Hao Zeyu's movie had been secured and the production crew wanted him back for promotional activities. Hao Zeyu was stunned.

Fu Baba disagreed with him going, arguing that Hao Zeyu was already prepared to change careers, so there was no need to promote the film. However, Fu Zi insisted that once Hao Zeyu made a decision, no one could sway him. After careful consideration, Hao Zeyu decided to participate in the promotion.

This was Teng Dan's last project for him and his very first movie; he felt he had a duty to see it through to the end, even if it were a bad film, and to accept whatever feedback it received. Before the film promotion began, Fu Baba suggested Niu Meili arrange an outing for Hao Zeyu in the countryside to help him relax.

However, Niu Meili, mindful of tight finances and the constant presence of paparazzi outside, arranged a forced "picnic" in the courtyard instead. To create atmosphere, she borrowed a grill and tent. Hao Zeyu, Fu Zi, and Fu Baba looked visibly displeased, but shiveringly began grilling in the yard. As Fu Baba grilled and chatted with Niu Meili, he discovered that the grill and the entire idea of a courtyard outing had come from Zhao Xiaobei.

Overcome with jealousy, he warned Niu Meili that while being friends with Zhao Xiaobei was acceptable, she should abandon any other romantic notions, even claiming that he was far more suitable for her. Fu Zi, sensing the awkward atmosphere, quickly intervened, offering a plate of grilled meat to herself and Hao Zeyu, who began to eat heartily. In a great mood after watching some paparazzi videos, Hao Zeyu generously offered to grant Fu Zi a wish.

Fu Zi's initial wishes were extravagant and whimsical, ranging from wanting to eat endlessly without gaining weight to having Hao Zeyu predict the next lottery winning numbers, leaving him speechless. She then shared her true wish: she wanted to go to school. As a child, she had struggled academically and her classmates had disliked her, making her despise school. But now, she realized how wonderful campus life truly was.

Hao Zeyu, again speechless, playfully suggested she might attend a senior university when she was older. Fu Zi then seriously thought of another wish: she wanted to fall in love, even if only for a day. Hao Zeyu teased her, suggesting her requirements for a relationship seemed simple but might prove difficult. Seeing her disappointment, Hao Zeyu promised to fulfill this wish for her as soon as the movie promotion concluded. They solemnly held hands and sealed their agreement with a "stamp" on her forehead.
