Legend of Yun Xi Episode 11 Recap
> Legend of Yun Xi Recap
Long Feiye brought Han Yunxi to a heavily guarded detention facility. Han Yunxi was deeply apprehensive along the way, fearing that her connection to the Empress Dowager had been exposed and that she was about to be imprisoned. However, upon seeing Yu Ze, the top courtesan, lying on the ground, Han Yunxi realized Long Feiye had brought her to treat the prisoner.
After examining Yu Ze, Han Yunxi determined she was suffering from a rare condition called Rice-poison, which had been exacerbated because she was forced to consume rice soup. Han Yunxi confidently declared she could develop an antidote within three days. The next day, Han Yunxi prepared a prescription and went to a pharmacy to buy herbs. As she left, she unexpectedly encountered Gu Qishao.
Long Feiye's carriage passed by just as Gu Qishao shielded Han Yunxi, causing Long Feiye to subtly frown. Unbeknownst to Han Yunxi, Gu Qishao's subordinates had been unable to locate Yu Ze's detention site for days, forcing him to act personally. Their "chance" encounter was, in fact, orchestrated by Gu Qishao, who had deliberately followed her. That night, as Long Feiye and Han Yunxi, now with the prepared antidote, walked through deserted streets, a masked Gu Qishao trailed them.
However, Long Feiye had anticipated this. He had his men, disguised as ordinary passersby, intentionally bump into Gu Qishao, causing him to lose their trail. Once they arrived at Yu Ze's detention facility, Long Feiye, uncharacteristically, questioned Han Yunxi with an air of possessiveness about the man she met at the pharmacy earlier. After her sincere explanation, Long Feiye allowed Han Yunxi to proceed with treating Yu Ze.
Han Yunxi used acupuncture to heal Yu Ze, then Long Feiye instructed her to wait outside while he and Chu Xifeng interrogated the prisoner. From outside, Han Yunxi could hear Yu Ze’s incessant cursing. However, when Chu Xifeng placed Yu Ze’s face near a cage containing giant rats, Yu Ze trembled in fear. As a top courtesan, her appearance was paramount to her. Under this terrifying pressure, Yu Ze confessed that the Crown Prince was behind the conspiracy.
On the city wall, with Yu Ze’s confession in hand, Long Feiye met with Mu Qingwu, asking for his cooperation to expose the true mastermind. Consequently, as Emperor Tianhui was advising the Crown Prince on matters of state, Mu Qingwu reported the progress of the false accusation case, stating that the top courtesan of Wanyan House had been apprehended. He deliberately omitted any mention of the confession to observe the Crown Prince's reaction.
The impulsive Crown Prince indeed showed signs of panic, raising the Emperor's suspicions. As Mu Qingwu was leaving the palace to assist Long Feiye with the investigation, he was approached by Princess Changbing, who had long admired him. She asked him to accompany her to the West Street bazaar. Despite her clear intentions, Mu Qingwu politely excused himself due to urgent duties. Meanwhile, Ning Jing dragged Han Yunxi to the lively West Street bazaar.
As they browsed Gu Qishao's shop, Han Yunxi's attention was drawn to a prison cart carrying what appeared to be Yu Ze. At this moment, Gu Qishao and his group were also watching the cart. When Han Yunxi pursued the cart alone, a masked Gu Qishao was already engaged in a fierce fight with General Mu Qingwu and his soldiers. Han Yunxi saw Mu Qingwu and his men fall to the ground, bitten by poisonous mosquitoes summoned by an accomplice.
She stepped forward and, invoking her identity as Princess Consort Qin, intimidated their opponents. Gu Qishao then smiled faintly and led his people away. Han Yunxi promptly told the arriving Ning Jing to pursue the accomplice, while she knelt down and quickly used a small knife to drain the poisoned blood from General Mu Qingwu. Mu Qingwu’s father, Minister Mu, dispatched troops for support.
The soldiers, upon seeing Han Yunxi beside the fallen Mu Qingwu and holding a sharp weapon, immediately arrested her. Ning Jing, returning after her pursuit, was also apprehended as Han Yunxi chose not to reveal their identities at that moment. Inside the General's Manor, Minister Mu was initially determined to execute both women, even if it meant offending Prince Qin.
However, when Imperial Doctor Gu Beiyue emerged after examining Mu Qingwu, admitting he had no clue for further treatment, he saw the bound Han Yunxi as a last resort. Only then did the anxious Minister Mu choose to trust Han Yunxi’s earlier claims. After Han Yunxi cured Mu Qingwu of the spider mosquito poison, she was about to leave when Mu Qingwu suddenly coughed up poisoned blood. Han Yunxi concluded that another, harder-to-diagnose poison remained in his body.
At this critical juncture, Princess Changbing, who had learned that her beloved Brother Qingwu was allegedly harmed by Princess Consort Qin, arrived in a fury. Disregarding Minister Mu’s pleas, Princess Changbing insisted on executing Han Yunxi, declaring she would rather kill an innocent person than let a suspect go free. Just then, a deep voice rang out, ordering Princess Changbing to stop. It was Long Feiye, who had arrived.
