> Legend of Awakening Recap

After waking up, Lu Ping learned from Chu Min that he had been struck by Guo Youdao’s star of destiny, which had sealed all his meridians and completely stripped him of his power of force. No one knew what Guo Youdao had been planning. Chu Min, recalling the phrase, “The double stars of Kaiyang, one is light and the other is dark, they complement each other,” mused that although Guo Youdao was cunning, even she couldn't fathom his ultimate scheme.

She understood that Guo Youdao, though dead, used his power of force to escort Lu Ping to Big Dipper because Lu Ping's innate Force of Spirit Lock prevented him from lighting his own star. The connecting star to destiny ceremony was connecting Guo Youdao's star to Lu Ping's destiny. Meanwhile, Guo Wushu, Guo Youdao's brother, refused to believe his brother would admit defeat so easily, certain Guo Youdao had a trick up his sleeve.

Though Lu Ping’s physical injuries had healed, he could not regain his power of force. Ling Ziyan worriedly tried to comfort him, but Lu Ping was preoccupied with thoughts of Qin Sang, which saddened Ling Ziyan. Just then, Li Yaotian, the Master of Big Dipper Institute, arrived with his disciples and ordered Lu Ping to train in the Fifth College.

Chu Min was furious at this decision, knowing the Fifth College was for those who broke rules or had low martial arts. However, Lu Ping accepted, reasoning that with no power left, he might as well use this as an opportunity to cultivate diligently, believing it was Guo Youdao's way of spurring him on. Seeing his resolve, Chu Min eventually agreed but stipulated that Lu Ping must still train with her every morning and evening.

Upon arriving at the Fifth College, Lu Ping encountered a group of unruly senior disciples, including Tang Xiaomei, Zimu, and Jin Qi. He intended to join the only serious-looking senior, Huo Ying, in training, but was instead ganged up on. The other disciples searched his bag for anything "they could enjoy" and tied him up, intending to leave him bound for the night to teach him the "rules."

Luckily, Senior Huo Ying arrived, scolding Tang Xiaomei for bullying the new arrival, who was already suffering from multiple injuries and had lost his power of force. Huo Ying released Lu Ping and revealed that he was aware of Lu Ping's background, including his sister Su Tang's safety. He also knew Lu Ping was from Zhaifeng Institute, mentored by Guo Youdao and Chu Min, and had killed Wen Gecheng from Shanhai Gang during the Force Combat Convention.

Huo Ying then led Lu Ping to his room. Huo Ying explained that the Fifth College was a place for "wastes" sent there for being too ostentatious or breaking rules, essentially for not being "steady" like Li Yaotian preferred. He told Lu Ping there was no need to train there, advocating for a policy of "muddling along." However, Lu Ping vehemently disagreed, stating his resolve to recover his martial arts.

Ignoring Huo Ying’s advice, Lu Ping began his solitary training, adhering to Zhaifeng Institute’s rule of running ten miles daily. Elsewhere, Mo Lin, after recovering from his illness, became greedy. Wanting Su Tang to continue taking care of him, he secretly pricked himself with needles to fake a prolonged sickness. Su Tang, dedicated to caring for him, eventually discovered his deception, realizing he had been "making fun of her."

Enraged, she tried to leave, but Mo Lin frantically stopped her, apologizing profusely and even offering to call her "Master" if it would make her stay. He admitted he liked her company and was selfish. To appease her, he revealed he had been investigating and found clues that Lu Ping and Chu Min had been to the local boxing gym, indicating they were safe.

He also shared a disturbing detail: Yan Xifan, their senior, was the one who had stabbed Lu Ping and was then taken by Shanhai Gang. Su Tang refused to believe Yan Xifan, a righteous man, would ever become a "running dog" for the Shanhai Gang, a place "like hell." Concerned for Yan Xifan's safety, and for Lu Ping, she decided they needed to investigate Shanhai Gang.

As they prepared to leave, A Ze from Wuji Manor intercepted them, inviting them to meet Master Yan Qiuci, who, to their surprise, turned out to be Yan Xifan's father. At Wuji Manor, Mo Lin informed Su Tang that Yan Qiuci was the renowned "Wild Sword in the Northwest," the current martial arts alliance leader, and a former senior of Chu Min and Guo Youdao.

He also revealed that Yan Xifan was the young master of Wuji Manor who had disappeared four years ago. Yan Qiuci confirmed that he had invited them to discuss his son. He explained that Yan Xifan had deliberately stabbed Lu Ping in a non-fatal spot to infiltrate Shanhai Gang as an undercover agent. He warned that if Su Tang and Mo Lin rashly investigated, they might expose Yan Xifan's identity.

Yan Qiuci then revealed that Yan Xifan had sent news that Shanhai Gang might be active near E'zhou in Tan, which was close to Big Dipper. He entrusted Su Tang and Mo Lin to deliver this message to Big Dipper, urging Li Yaotian to be cautious, and suggesting they could also reunite with Lu Ping there. When asked about Lu Ping's origins, Su Tang could only say they were both orphans captured by Shanhai Gang.

Yan Qiuci, lamenting his son's renewed ties to Big Dipper after decades away, instructed A Ze to send more people to assist Yan Xifan from the sidelines. Meanwhile, in Shanhai Gang, Yan Xifan, having spent over a month undercover and successfully eliminating two minor gangs for the Master, was promised a "Xi Sui" opportunity to greatly enhance his cultivation. However, his impatience led to his identity being exposed by the Shanhai Gang Master, who sensed his racing heartbeat.

The Master then effortlessly overpowered Yan Xifan, and a white-haired man, operating from behind the scenes, used his soul of Essence to control him. Back at Big Dipper, Lu Ping continued his rigorous training. One day, he awoke to find his Force of Sound had miraculously returned. Excited, he shared the news with Huo Ying, believing his efforts were finally paying off.

However, the other Fifth College disciples, who had been mocking his persistence, grew increasingly resentful, feeling he was looking down on them. They decided to teach him a lesson about "Fifth College rules," claiming that everyone who entered was a "discarded disciple of Big Dipper" destined to waste their lives. Huo Ying, though initially somewhat protective, eventually decided to "know nothing" and let them proceed. Chu Min, observing Lu Ping's progress, was somewhat satisfied.

She inquired to Ling Ziyan why Qin Sang had not yet arrived, noticing Ling Ziyan's evasiveness. Although Ling Ziyan had secretly destroyed the letter to Qin Sang in the previous episode, Qin Sang eventually arrived at Big Dipper. Lu Ping, still trying to understand why only his Force of Sound had returned, was then approached by Ling Ziyan.

She fabricated a story, claiming Chu Min had received a message from Yan Xifan saying he had successfully located Shanhai Gang, escaped unharmed, and would soon come to Big Dipper. This news greatly relieved Lu Ping. As Lu Ping prepared to resume his training, Ling Ziyan stopped him, feigning concern about the other Fifth College disciples bullying him, but in reality, she had something important to confess.

Unbeknownst to Lu Ping, the other Fifth College disciples had indeed set a trap. However, instead of Lu Ping, Qin Sang stumbled into it, inadvertently destroying their setup. Realizing who she was, the disciples quickly backed down and directed her towards the back mountain. There, Qin Sang overheard Ling Ziyan’s heartfelt confession to Lu Ping.

Ling Ziyan pleaded with Lu Ping to stay in Big Dipper, forget outside conflicts, and let her care for him for the rest of their lives. She argued that Qin Sang, being from the high-ranking Qin family, would eventually be married off to a suitable match by her general father, and Lu Ping's past conflict with the Qin family would only endanger him. Lu Ping, however, did not reciprocate her romantic feelings.

He gently but firmly rejected her, stating that he needed no one to serve him, and that she, having a new life, should not view herself as a servant. He then rushed off to pursue a visibly jealous Qin Sang, who had stormed away. Still fuming with jealousy, Qin Sang sought out Chu Min, commenting to her that Lu Ping seemed to be "flirting with girls" and full of energy.

Chu Min, aware of the situation, then covered for Qin Sang, sending Lu Ping away when he came knocking. As Lu Ping departed, Qin Sang, despite her earlier anger, felt a pang of regret and wished he had stayed a little longer.
