She reminisced about his unwavering care, from apologizing to classmates for her fights to cleaning up her messes and even discreetly paying for her meals with friends. Her father assured her that a father's love for his daughter is natural and told her to do well, hoping for her successful and happy future. Later, the participants gathered at the airport, under the assumption they would be flying. Liang Dawei clarified it was merely a convenient meeting spot.
They boarded a bus, where they speculated about the upcoming training. One participant, an arrogant student, expressed impatience, eager to leave on time despite Guan Xiaodi not having arrived. When Guan Xiaodi finally appeared, the arrogant student made a rude comment about her clothing choice, suggesting she was dressed for a fashion show, but Guan Xiaodi countered that women should always maintain their best appearance. Ma Li, struggling with her high heels and heavy luggage, quickly fell behind. The arrogant student protested vehemently, accusing Liu Sha of being unreasonable and calling his boss, but was forced to comply. Next, Instructor Qin Sheng introduced himself.
He asked if everyone was thirsty and, without waiting for a response, turned a fire hose on them, knocking them down with the powerful stream. Guan Xiaodi quickly suggested they link arms to form a human wall, which effectively withstood the water pressure. Qin Sheng suggested a break, and Liu Sha allowed them thirty minutes in a rest room. Cui Tianqi received a blanket and hot water, but when the arrogant student also requested a blanket, he was denied and told to huddle for warmth. Enraged, he threw a blanket at another student and attempted to attack Qin Sheng. Qin Sheng skillfully subdued him, stating that L. H. S.
