Xiong Kuohai summoned Liang Dawei to his office to question him about the car theft that occurred the previous night involving both Liang Dawei and Guan Xiaodi. Liang Dawei took full responsibility, claiming he acted alone, leading Xiong Kuohai to deduct a day's worth of points from him. Liang Dawei felt his father was unfairly targeting him and expressed his frustration, but Xiong Kuohai challenged him, asking who was at the top of the leaderboard.
When Liang Dawei named "Stinger Bee" (Guan Xiaodi's nickname), Xiong Kuohai used it to remind him that he wasn't the best. Meanwhile, Cui Tianqi received an iPad that Guan Xiaodi had bought for her. Cui Tianqi happily connected it to the internet using her high-tech bracelet. Seeing this, Zhang Yan asked Cui Tianqi to teach her how to make calls.

Ju Liang admitted to it, stating his intention was to have Liang Dawei expelled and thus kept away from Guan Xiaodi. Their argument escalated, but Guan Xiaodi intervened. She asked Ju Liang why he had reported them. Ju Liang reiterated his desire for Liang Dawei to be kicked out and away from her. Guan Xiaodi then openly told Ju Liang that she liked Liang Dawei.
Ju Liang, visibly shocked and hurt, lamented that his long-standing care for Guan Xiaodi seemed to mean nothing compared to Liang Dawei. He told her that one day she would understand that he was the only one who could truly be by her side. The training camp entered its final week with a test and drill focusing on client protection in a hotel room.
Instructor Liu Sha and Qin Sheng presented the trainees with a picture of a hotel room and asked them to identify potential dangers. After some initial, unhelpful suggestions from other students, Guan Xiaodi and Liang Dawei correctly identified the possibility of bombs or listening devices. That afternoon, the trainees went to a real hotel room, with three minutes to find all dangerous items.
Despite everyone searching, only Liang Dawei found a listening device hidden in the phone, and Guan Xiaodi discovered a camera concealed in the showerhead. However, they only found two of the four hidden dangers. Liu Sha expressed extreme disappointment in their performance, stating that a single mistake could be fatal for a bodyguard's client. She then revealed the two remaining dangers: a remote-controlled bomb disguised as a book and poison in a seemingly ordinary bottle of water.
For their failure, all students had their points deducted, with Guan Xiaodi and Liang Dawei receiving a smaller deduction (3 points) compared to the others (5 points) but still being penalized for not finding all dangers. Confiding in Cui Tianqi, Guan Xiaodi explained that she was taking the blame for the hack to protect Cui Tianqi, who was the actual culprit. Guan Xiaodi encouraged Cui Tianqi not to confess, wanting her sacrifice to mean something. Feeling frustrated, Guan Xiaodi left the training camp without permission and went to a bar to vent with her friends.
Meanwhile, back at the camp, both Ma Li and Cui Tianqi overheard conversations about Guan Xiaodi's impending expulsion due to the hack. Upon learning this, Cui Tianqi immediately went to Xiong Kuohai's office and confessed that she was the one who hacked into the system. Xiong Kuohai revealed that he already knew she was the hacker, being the only student capable of such an act.
He explained that he was not punishing the hacker but rather punishing Guan Xiaodi for concealing the truth and not telling him who was responsible. He left Guan Xiaodi's future up to her. Guan Xiaodi returned home from the bar, still determined not to return to the training camp. Her father, witnessing her distress, revealed that he was the one who recommended her to L. H. S. D. and pushed her through the rigorous tests. He then revealed a long-held secret: Xiong Kuohai, also known as Xiong Tao, was Guan Xiaodi's biological father, who had abandoned her and her mother fifteen years ago.
