Imagination based on illusion

I just finish watching this drama not long ago, and the reason why I watched it was that I did the same at a hotel during my travel in Suzhou in 2023 and that now I had time to pick it up. 

I remembered I first saw the film from the part when Elder Brother Jiaxu stayed outside the dorm of the girls and was liked immediately by the roommates of Sang Zhi.

It aroused my expectation very much.

Yet it turned out that things are not what they seem. 

There are too many bugs. 

Sang Zhi said at the graveyard where Elder Brother Jiaxu's mother was buried, that she would try her best to protect her lover from being bullied by anybody. 

But seeing from the very beginning to the very end of the drama, I haven't found any scene or clue that this Elder Brother Jiaxu has been ever bullied by anybody, except the cup of water thrown on his face the other night by a girl who loves him.
