To prevent Tong Nian from being bored, Han Shangyan talked to Xiao Ai alone by the roadside about what happened thirteen years ago. That year, Su Cheng and Wang Hao met, became acquainted, and fell in love through the CTF competition, but a year later, due to conflicts between ordinary boyfriends and girlfriends, they broke up peacefully. By the time Su Cheng found out she was pregnant, Xiao Ai had already been in her belly for three months.

And after hearing how both the young Su Cheng and Wang Hao made sacrifices for Xiao Ai, Xiao Ai's attitude towards Su Cheng also improved. By the river, the two mother and daughter treated each other as friends and freely talked about what they wanted to know. And Wang Hao not telling Ai Qing about his intention to retire from the team after having Xiao Ai – these were the points of disappointment Ai Qing had towards Wang Hao as his girlfriend at the time. It was the concealment that caused two deeply devoted people to separate, and precisely because they loved deeply in the past, they can now work together rationally.
After dealing with Wang Hao's family matter, Han Shangyan brought Tong Nian back to the Han family house.
