Ye Luming originally wanted to invite He Fanxing to dinner, but He Fanxing wanted to go home for dinner. Ye Luming then planned to give He Fanxing a ride home and said he was afraid of being seen by He Fanxing's neighbor again. He Fanxing, however, didn't take this matter to heart. At He Fanxing's company, Deng Qingqing was gossiping with He Fanxing, saying that Yuan Song's future girlfriend was in the reception room and that the girl looked at Yuan Song as if she had stars in her eyes. He Fanxing secretly watched from outside the reception room. Xiao Bai watched Cai Minmin and Yuan Song and also said that Yuan Song would definitely be pursued by Cai Minmin very soon.
He Fanxing got a bit angry and bet Xiao Bai a thousand yuan that Yuan Song wouldn't agree. Yuan Song followed Cai Minmin to an apartment to survey its area. The neighbor next door came to greet Cai Minmin and even thought the apartment was Yuan Song and Cai Minmin's marital home. At lunchtime, He Fanxing invited Cong Xiao to have lunch together and asked her why she hadn't been talking to her recently. Yuan Song asked He Fanxing if she would be angry if he was alone with a female classmate and didn't tell her.
Seeing that He Fanxing didn't react much, Yuan Song then told He Fanxing about Cai Minmin, saying that he would be spending a lot of time with Cai Minmin in the coming months. He Fanxing said she trusted Yuan Song, but Yuan Song felt that He Fanxing's trust was indifference towards him. He Fanxing tried to persuade Yuan Song, telling him not to be childish and unreasonable.
This angered Yuan Song, who left He Fanxing and walked away without looking back. He Fanxing walked sadly to the park, feeling that her first love had ended just like that.
