Song Xue and Yang Xiaoyu took He Fanxing fishing in the suburbs. Yang Xiaoyu advised He Fanxing to get back together with Yuan Song, but He Fanxing felt that she couldn't bear the sacrifice of Yuan Song giving up studying abroad for her. He Fanxing didn't want Yuan Song to feel annoyed when he thought of her someday.
She felt that even if she couldn't lead Yuan Song towards a better path, she couldn't be a stumbling block in his life journey. Song Xue also agreed with He Fanxing's point of view. Yang Xiaoyu worried that Yuan Song might do something reckless because of the breakup, but He Fanxing didn't want to think about it anymore and ended the topic. That evening, while the three of them were eating together, Ye Luming called He Fanxing again.
Song Xue and Yang Xiaoyu pestered He Fanxing to show them Ye Luming's photo. Yang Xiaoyu looked at the photo and felt that the two were a perfect match. He Fanxing, however, was furious, feeling that she had been deceived by Ye Luming all along. Yang Xiaoyu felt that Ye Luming genuinely liked He Fanxing, but He Fanxing couldn't accept it. While the three of them were chatting, Ye Luming suddenly appeared in front of them.
Song Xue quickly pulled Yang Xiaoyu away, leaving He Fanxing and Ye Luming alone. Ye Luming tried hard to persuade He Fanxing, suggesting that they become good friends and develop feelings with the premise of dating.
