Ye Luming and He Fanxing were shopping at the mall. Ye Luming pretended to ask He Fanxing to help him buy a gift for the person he liked. He Fanxing didn't know that the person Ye Luming liked was herself and seriously considered what gift to pick for Ye Luming. In the mall, Cai Minmin was looking everywhere for Ye Luming, and He Canyang was also looking everywhere for He Fanxing. The two happened to run into each other.
Cai Minmin wanted to run away, but He Canyang dragged her to eat dessert. Cai Minmin promised He Canyang that she would absolutely not tell anyone about He Canyang and Song Xue. When Cai Minmin heard that He Canyang and Song Xue were still friends, she felt that He Canyang still had feelings for Song Xue.
She also said that Ye Luming was currently using this method to pursue her future aunt, but He Canyang said that this method was a double-edged sword. If two people remain friends for too long, they won't develop feelings for the other person. He Fanxing finished helping Ye Luming pick out a gift. After shopping, the two came to the parking lot to leave, but He Fanxing saw He Canyang's car, so she called him.
Of course, He Canyang refused to admit he was at the mall and lied to He Fanxing that he was at home. He Fanxing felt something was up, so she asked Song Xue and Yang Xiaoyu in their group chat.
