Since Li Qingyue had once used the Heaven-Flipping Seal to seal Bai Jiusi, Bai Jiusi could do the same to her without suffering serious injury—but he still couldn’t bring himself to make the decision. Ningyan found Li Qingyue, brought her some fruit, and told her that Bai Jiusi had originally intended to let her go, but Longyuan had stopped him. Longyuan remained persistent, standing outside Bai Jiusi’s door and pleading with him to seal Li Qingyue with the Heaven-Flipping Seal.

Then the Heavenly Venerable arrived, warning Bai Jiusi that if anything happened to the Infinite Stele under his watch due to personal entanglements, the Heaven Realm would intervene personally. Ningyan once again came to see Li Qingyue and told her about Longyuan. Just as the two were speaking, Ningyan was knocked unconscious—it turned out Zhang Suan had arrived, intending to rescue Li Qingyue. Li Qingyue was puzzled as to why Zhang Suan was in the Immortal Realm.
Upon checking, she discovered that Zhang Suan had climbed up to the Ninth Heaven through the Heaven-Linking Ladder. Li Qingyue noticed that Zhang Suan’s spiritual power had grown immensely and was very puzzled. Bai Jiusi appeared to block them, and Zhang Suan fought with Bai Jiusi, but he was still no match and ended up gravely injured by him. When Ningyan learned that Li Qingyue was going to be sealed with the Heaven-Flipping Seal, she went to find Zhang Suan. Upon hearing that Li Qingyue was in danger, Zhang Suan rushed to rescue her despite his injuries.
Bai Jiusi arrived personally to seal Li Qingyue with the Heaven-Flipping Seal. When the heavenly thunder descended, Li Qingyue was in immense pain. Zhang Suan arrived at the execution site, saw Li Qingyue’s suffering, and tried to rescue her, only to be blocked by Longyuan. Meanwhile, in the Land of the Void, Fan Ling Er unexpectedly helped the white snake escape. Freed from its restraints, the white snake headed toward Li Qingyue, and Fan Ling Er followed along.
