Orchid couldn’t help but wonder—perhaps he wanted to stay by her side. She then proposed taking the immortal exam and becoming an attendant under Lord Changheng. Lord Changheng was Lord Yunzhong’s younger brother. After the great war between the two tribes, Shuiyuntian had been torn apart.

It took Lord Changheng less than six thousand years to reclaim all the lost lands. In Orchid’s eyes, if Lord Changheng had been born a few hundred years earlier, even Dongfang Qingcang would not have been his match. After talking for so long, Dongfang Qingcang finally realized that Orchid had feelings for Lord Changheng. Die Yi had already found out that the Destiny Books had been stolen by an unnamed orchid grass spirit from the Arbiter Hall.

King Haishi immediately guessed it was Orchid, the one who inherited the Arbiter’s mantle. At his command, she was to be killed and the books reclaimed. However, Lord Changheng was currently in Yu Capital. If a murder occurred, he would certainly investigate, which could implicate Haishi and cause trouble. Conveniently, the immortal exam was approaching. If a little flower spirit met an unfortunate end during that time, no one would notice.

Orchid dozed off, and when she opened her eyes, she saw Lord Changheng, scaring her so much that she collapsed to the ground. Her heart leapt with joy—she couldn’t believe it. Meanwhile, at the Shuyu Forest of Shuiyuntian, the immortal Dan Yin was practicing spells, but she lost control and ended up injured.

Immortal Lord Liyuan stepped forward, helped up his precious daughter, and scolded her for insisting on serving others. But Dan Yin had long been infatuated with Lord Changheng. Orchid remained dutiful and refused to hand it over. Dan Yin then threatened her and even damaged the Destiny Book Tree.

A vortex suddenly appeared on the tree trunk. Dan Yin stepped forward to check and saw Lord Changheng’s wedding scene. In the mortal world, the bride wasn’t her. In the heavenly wedding at Shuiyuntian, the bride wasn’t her either. Finally, the bride’s face was revealed—it was none other than Orchid, standing beside her. Enraged, Dan Yin shoved Orchid harshly to the ground. The immortal exam arrived as scheduled, and Orchid was a bit late, but thankfully not too late.

With a single “Silence” from Immortal San Sheng, Lord Yunzhong and Lord Changheng appeared. All the young immortals in the audience scrambled for a chance to pass the exam and serve by Lord Changheng’s side. Little did they know, his mind was elsewhere, recalling his time with Orchid. As the ceremony began, he gradually pulled himself together. The fairies needed to subdue a fierce beast in Shuyu Forest to pass the exam.

The immortals excitedly came forward to receive the spiritual beads from Lord Changheng, but his gaze remained downcast—until Orchid approached. Then, concern flickered in his eyes. Dan Yin wanted to be the first to enter the forest, but Orchid dashed ahead of her. Orchid didn’t know who had pushed her, but there was no turning back. She had to force herself to lead the charge. Meanwhile, San Sheng waved her hand, revealing the forest scene in the hall.

Despite all her preparations and determination to pass the exam, Orchid couldn’t help but feel terrified. She wandered into a deserted area, unaware that a fierce beast lay right beneath her feet. Dongfang Qingcang and Shang Que were shocked and frustrated, even a bit angry. After several twists and turns, Orchid finally noticed the beast. But she was so overly cautious that the moment she raised her hand, the beast ran off.

Orchid eventually caught up to the beast, Yingzhao, and even offered it some spiritual herbs, hoping to catch it off guard. It was said that Yingzhao only trusted those with pure hearts. Seeing this, Lord Changheng couldn’t help but speak up for Orchid, only to receive a warning glare from Lord Yunzhong. Just then, several immortals surrounded Orchid and tried to steal Yingzhao.

They cast spells against her, but to their shock, Orchid's magic not only resisted but even knocked them down. Die Yi quietly arrived, and Dongfang Qingcang sensed demonic energy. After instructing Shang Que to guard Orchid well, he followed the trace. But Die Yi had already approached Orchid and shattered San Sheng’s spell, injecting demonic energy into Yingzhao. The once gentle beast suddenly turned ferocious, baring its fangs and chasing Orchid.

Lord Changheng, worried, tried to leave to find her but was stopped by Rong Hao. At the critical moment, Shang Que appeared and blocked Yingzhao. Other fairies also encountered the enraged Yingzhao. Dan Yin tried to subdue it but was knocked down. Orchid suddenly appeared and rescued Dan Yin, then attempted to subdue Yingzhao herself. The others came to help, but they were no match for the beast. Orchid spotted a cave and quickly led everyone inside.

Now, only by combining their spiritual beads could they hope to defend themselves. After a brief hesitation, everyone decided to take the risk. Orchid carefully squeezed outside with the spiritual beads, tearfully raising her injured hand to lure Yingzhao away. Dan Yin led the immortals back to the main hall and reported the situation.
