In order to refine the Evil Qi, Rong Hao killed the strong men who had gone up the mountain to collect firewood. When the Chidi Woman regained consciousness and saw the horrific scene before her, an inexplicable fear surged in her heart, and she fainted. Seeing his master in such pain, Rong Hao had no choice but to confront Taisui and hold him accountable.

The Chidi Woman was barely surviving on the remnants of Evil Qi with the last trace of her soul. After thirty thousand years, the Evil Qi had already penetrated her bones, and in the end, she would become a monster that knew only slaughter. Taisui told Rong Hao that if he took over the Chidi Woman's true body and fused with her soul, she would no longer be in pain and would retain memories of him.

If so, she and Rong Hao would never be separated. This was what Rong Hao had dreamed of, so he agreed to Taisui’s terms. A long, long time ago, the young Rong Hao, in tattered clothes, sat in the snow playing the flute in his hands. The Chidi Woman sat by the window, quietly listening to the beautiful melody. Even though it might cost her eternal damnation, the Chidi Woman still decided to bring Rong Hao back to life. Then, he stabbed her in the back. Perhaps he was in pain, but by doing so, his master would never have to suffer again. The Chidi Woman showed a gratified smile and peacefully rested on Rong Hao’s shoulder, falling into eternal sleep. Yet Rong Hao still couldn’t let go of her, so he decided to self-destruct his soul and perish together with Taisui. In this way, he could be with his master forever.

One was Lord Changheng’s only friend in Shuiyuntian, the other was Dongfang Qingcang’s rare rival. So when they learned that Rong Hao and the Chidi Woman had passed away, they quickly came to the bamboo forest to pay tribute to them. The goddess beside them looked solemn and reminded Changheng to speed up the execution of the plan. It turned out that the goddess remembered everything, but in her eyes, saving all beings was the top priority.

It turned out Dongfang Qingcang had treated her that way only to successfully remove the Bone Orchid and save her life. Despite Orchid’s efforts to suppress her feelings for Dongfang Qingcang, at the moment of parting, she couldn’t help but reach out and poke his face, just like when she had taught him to smile. Dongfang Qingcang was stunned, then grabbed the goddess who tried to flee and eagerly asked who she really was.

The goddess didn’t answer, threw off his hand, and ran away. At that moment, Dongfang Qingcang discovered new karma sprouting on Orchid’s Destiny Book, and even signs of a fracture. When Dongfang Qingcang reached out to touch the crack, he actually "saw" the goddess planning to perish with Taisui. Suddenly, he understood what the Arbiter had once said. Dongfang Qingcang changed into his battle armor and shook Shang Que’s hand firmly. He walked alone into darkness, determinedly heading forward.

The goddess changed into a beautifully ornate wedding dress, ready to complete the wedding with Lord Changheng. The auspicious hour had arrived; petals filled the sky, dazzling under the sunlight. Changheng and the goddess exchanged a solemn glance, nodded to each other, and walked side by side toward Lord Yunzhong.
