Liu Ziguang secretly met with Hu Rong, informing her that Lisa's identity had been confirmed, which greatly uplifted her spirits. However, Hu Rong quickly expressed concern that Lisa had grown suspicious of her, making it impossible for her to approach Lisa again. Liu Ziguang immediately offered to monitor Lisa in her stead. Zhuo Li was finally released from prison and was met by Guo Dalu and Bei Xiaoshuai. Zhuo Li, excited to be out, immediately asked about Liu Ziguang.

Bei Xiaoshuai, attempting to cover for him, claimed that Liu Ziguang had reconciled with Hu Rong (referred to as Xiao Hong in dialogue) and was accompanying her on a training trip abroad. Zhuo Li was disappointed, having hoped for an immediate reunion of "the three musketeers" for drinks. Later, Li Jianguo returned to the "Di Dao Di Dao" restaurant and inquired about Liu Ziguang.

Bei Xiaoshuai, clearly uncomfortable, initially repeated the fabricated story about Liu Ziguang being away for training with Officer Hu. Li Jianguo, sensing deception, pressed Bei Xiaoshuai for the truth, especially after a call to Liu Ziguang's phone went unanswered. Realizing Liu Ziguang might be in danger, Li Jianguo demanded an honest explanation.

Under pressure, Bei Xiaoshuai reluctantly admitted that Hu Rong was on a secret mission in Jiangnan, and Liu Ziguang, worried for her safety, had followed her, asking them not to tell anyone. Li Jianguo then went to Golden Glory and sought out Old Zhou, the kitchen manager. Initially, Old Zhou's assistant tried to turn Li Jianguo away, but Li Jianguo insisted.

Old Zhou, recognizing Li Jianguo as a former respected leader and joking about his reputation as the "kebab king of Jiangbei," asked his reason for visiting. Li Jianguo, putting aside his pride, humbly requested a job to help cover his wife's medical expenses. Seeing Li Jianguo's difficult situation, Old Zhou agreed to help. Coincidentally, Mei Jie had been wanting to add variety to Golden Glory's menu, so Old Zhou proposed a new outdoor barbecue section, which Mei Jie approved.

Old Zhou then decided to put Li Jianguo in charge of this new venture. Later, while Liu Ziguang was accompanying Mei Jie on a kitchen inspection, he was shocked to discover Li Jianguo working there. They discreetly arranged to meet that night. During their meeting, Li Jianguo reassured Liu Ziguang not to worry about him, highlighting his past military experience in reconnaissance and counter-reconnaissance. Liu Ziguang, recognizing Li Jianguo's capabilities, agreed to let him go undercover as well.

Li Jianguo then urged Liu Ziguang to leave, explaining that he needed to prepare to host VIP guests on the top floor the following day. This news excited Liu Ziguang, who then disclosed Lisa's true identity and Hu Rong's mission to Li Jianguo, proposing a bold, collaborative plan. Han Jin, learning of Li Jianguo's involvement, initially criticized Liu Ziguang, expressing concern that more participants would only increase the risks.

However, Li Jianguo, drawing on his military background, assured Han Jin of his unwavering cooperation and promised not to cause any trouble. Liu Ziguang then outlined his detailed plan for the next day. Han Jin found the plan somewhat daring but, after consulting with his superiors, approved the strategy. As a precautionary measure, he assigned a female police officer, Xiao Bai, to work alongside Li Jianguo.

The next day, amidst a torrential downpour, while Li Jianguo was preparing a whole roasted lamb for Lisa, a group of ruffians began to harass her. Liu Ziguang swiftly rushed into the rain, skillfully fending off the attackers and knocking them down. Impressed by his gallant actions and handsome appearance, Lisa was delighted and eagerly led Liu Ziguang to her room. There, she brazenly attempted to seduce him, offering herself.

Liu Ziguang, flustered, quickly fabricated an excuse about having a girlfriend and hastily retreated from the room. Mei Jie, highly apologetic for the evening's events, approached Lisa to express her regrets. Lisa then inquired about Liu Ziguang's name and background. Mei Jie assured her that they had thoroughly vetted Liu Ziguang, and his history and identity were impeccable. Lisa promptly requested Liu Ziguang to serve as her personal, round-the-clock bodyguard, a request Mei Jie promptly granted.

Liu Ziguang later reported Lisa's attempted seduction to Hu Rong, reaffirming his loyalty. Hu Rong, amused by his tension, reassured him of her complete trust before Liu Ziguang received a phone call and left in a hurry. Hu Rong visited Xiao Fei in his room. She discreetly inquired about the mysterious new woman staying in the top suite. Xiao Fei confided that anyone residing in that particular room must be a person of significant importance to Mei Jie.

News of Lisa's presence at Golden Glory quickly reached Nie Wanfeng. His subordinate informed him that the woman they had been tracking had finally checked in. Nie Wanfeng reflected on Lisa's precarious situation, noting that she was "besieged on all sides" and had come to Mei Jie at Golden Glory, suggesting her motives were far from straightforward. He surmised that her risky journey to China at this time must involve a significant business deal.

Nie Wanfeng revealed Lisa's notorious past as a top figure in their criminal circles, detailing her history of drug trafficking in South America and later weapon trafficking in the Golden Triangle. He described her as cunning and cruel, an elusive figure who frequently changed identities, whose true appearance and movements were largely unknown, even to Interpol.

Recognizing that Hu Rong and Liu Ziguang were undercover at Golden Glory, Nie Wanfeng acknowledged that they were bound for "a life-and-death test of strength" with Lisa. While admitting he couldn't predict the winner, he privately hoped Liu Ziguang would succeed, as Lisa's downfall would coincidentally benefit him greatly. In an underground passage, Liu Ziguang and Hu Rong convened to discuss the new woman at Golden Glory.

Liu Ziguang shared his observation that "a mysterious woman moved onto the top floor of Golden Glory" that day, personally received by Mei Jie with extreme courtesy, indicating she was "not so simple." Hu Rong agreed, concluding that anyone receiving such special treatment from Mei Jie must be highly significant, speculating, "Perhaps she is the leader of their drug trafficking ring. Perhaps, she is the legendary Lisa."

Liu Ziguang then proposed to "find a way to get close to her" to learn her background, but Hu Rong quickly reminded him of their agreement, asserting that he must obey her. She assigned him the task of "keeping watch over the movements of Sister Mei and that woman," promising to handle other matters herself.

The next day, after Lisa (who used the alias Tina) left her room, Hu Rong, disguised as a cleaning attendant under the name Chu Feifei, seized the opportunity to enter. She discreetly took a lipstick from the room. Later, she knocked on Lisa's door, fabricating an excuse about having left a cleaning agent. Lisa, however, sternly warned her, "You're not allowed to enter my room without my permission in the future."

Observing Hu Rong's suspicious behavior through surveillance cameras, Lisa immediately called Mei Jie to her room. Mei Jie confronted Hu Rong, who nervously produced the stolen lipstick. Mei Jie, frustrated, ordered Hu Rong to apologize to Lisa. Hu Rong returned the lipstick and offered her apologies, but Lisa remained unconvinced. She coldly demanded Hu Rong to kneel, which Hu Rong reluctantly did.

Lisa then took out a pair of scissors, pressing them against Hu Rong's hand, and pressed her to reveal her true intentions for entering the room. Hu Rong maintained her fabricated story about her father, Cao Jinguan, being a gambling addict and her being tempted by the expensive lipstick due to her poverty, adding, "In my whole life, I'd never be able to buy such an expensive lipstick."

Lisa dismissed this as an unoriginal lie, stating that in society, one must pay for mistakes, and offered Hu Rong the choice to cut off her own finger. Mei Jie quickly intervened, vouching for Hu Rong's pitiful background and confirming that her records had been checked. Lisa, referring to herself as Tina, temporarily relented but demanded to meet Hu Rong's father.

Xiao Fei arrived to pick up Cao Jinguan, informing him that Mei Jie had requested his presence at Golden Glory, though he was unsure of the reason. Sensing trouble, Cao Jinguan feigned needing to retrieve clothes and discreetly messaged Han Jin about the "sudden situation."

Upon arrival at Golden Glory, Mei Jie greeted Cao Jinguan, introducing herself as Hu Rong's superior and explaining that they wished to understand his family's situation, as Hu Rong (under the alias Chu Feifei) had mentioned his gambling debts. Mei Jie proposed to help clear his debts, an offer Cao Jinguan feigned reluctance to accept. Mei Jie insisted, then instructed both Cao Jinguan and Hu Rong to independently list their creditors' names, contact numbers, and the amounts owed.

Liu Ziguang watched anxiously from a distance. Their identical lists, showing a ¥290,000 debt, surprised Lisa and Mei Jie. To verify, Lisa instructed Mei Jie to call one of the listed creditors. Mei Jie made the call, and Cao Jinguan, speaking into the phone, interacted with Han Jin, who was already prepped and answered, adopting the persona of a gruff debt collector, "Boss Han," and aggressively demanding ¥150,000 within a week, threatening to double the interest otherwise.

Convinced by the performance, Mei Jie expressed sympathy, advised Cao Jinguan to abandon his gambling habit for his daughter's sake, and assured him that the company would handle the remaining debt. She then dismissed him and Hu Rong, with Lisa instructing Hu Rong to keep the returned lipstick. Due to the lipstick incident, Lisa instructed Mei Jie to exclude Hu Rong from the upcoming transaction and forbid her from cleaning her room in the future.

Mei Jie then sternly reprimanded Hu Rong for the theft, warning her against repeating such "taboo" behavior. Later, in an underground passage, a despondent Hu Rong expressed her concern to Liu Ziguang that Mei Jie's suspicion would hinder future intelligence gathering. Liu Ziguang comforted her, showing her drawings of a future overseas vacation, complete with sun, sea, and a teasing depiction of Hu Rong in a bikini, which she playfully dismissed as "rotten rascal" behavior.

Liu Ziguang then delivered Lisa's fingerprints to Han Jin, explaining that Mei Jie's close watch on Hu Rong made it safer for him to relay information going forward. Han Jin thanked him for his help. Separately, Director Song and Han Jin confirmed through fingerprint verification that the VIP was indeed Lisa, noting her alias "Tina," and reiterating their belief that she was in China for a significant transaction, likely "a great conspiracy" or "a big business deal."
