He saw Wen Kexing standing under the eaves, lost in thought, and invited him to have a drink to ward off the chill. Wen Kexing recalled the joyful memories of raising a puppy with Zhou Zishu when they were young.
He saw Zhou Zishu use the Liuyun Nine Palace Steps and draw the White Clothes Sword, but still wasn’t sure of his identity. Only when he mentioned his surname was Zhou did Wen Kexing confirm that he was indeed Zhou Zishu. He claimed that the moment he showed up in Dashizhen, he was hunted by the Scorpions and barely escaped. He had clearly seen Zhao Jing's sinister intentions.
Gao Xiaolian mistakenly thought Zhao Jing had sent people to save her. However, Huang He had already leaked the news, suggesting Zhao Jing exchange Gao Xiaolian for the Glazed Armor. Since Zhao Jing had yet to respond, Huang He believed Zhao Jing was responsible for Gao Chong’s death. Gao Xiaolian refused to believe it. Green Willow Elder begged Shen Shen to spare them and promised to retire from the martial world. It turned out that Gu Xiang had found Shen Shen to help save Gao Xiaolian. Shen Shen exposed Gu Xiang as the Chief's close servant from Ghost Valley.

Zhang Chengling wanted to pay respects to his grandmaster, so Zhou Zishu took him and Wen Kexing to the cemetery. Zhang Chengling knelt before the grave of Qin Huai Zhang and his wife, expressing his determination. Wen Kexing wanted to pay tribute alone, so Zhou Zishu left with Zhang Chengling. Wen Kexing would never forget the moment he became Qin Huai Zhang’s disciple.
