Hearing that Song Tingyu had returned with Qin Lie to propose peace, Song Yu's expression became complicated. When Song Siyuan added that the Nether Queen Ling Yushi was not present, Song Yu grew even more suspicious.
Meanwhile, Ling Yushi was in a hall of the Artefact Forging Sect, observing the Nether Demonic Qi converging into her body, sensing her inner power growing stronger. Qin Lie and Song Tingyu entered the hall. Representing the Nether Tribe, Qin Lie proposed a peace negotiation to Song Yu, demonstrating sincerity by returning Song Tingyu unharmed. In return, Qin Lie demanded the release of Ku Lu.
He demanded that if Song Yu was serious about peace, he should send Du Shao Yang and Lang Xie to discuss terms. Song Yu, wary of Qin Lie's choice of envoys, agreed to only let Du Shao Yang deliver a message. He instructed Du Shao Yang to tell Qin Lie that Ku Lu would be exchanged for the Profound Yin Nine-Leaf Lotus from the Nether Tribe.

Just then, Song Tingyu, who was replacing Lang Xie in the negotiation, entered and explained the Gong Mu family's history: The Gong Mu family existed since the Spirit Realm's inception.
Gong Mulie, son of the God of War Gong Mu Hao, was peerless in the Spirit Realm and credited with restoring peace after the millennium-long war between humans and the God Race. He later sought higher realms and disappeared. He also had a childhood friend and mentor, Night Fairy. Ling Yushi listened intently, then quietly entered Song Tingyu's consciousness to verify her words. An outsider from the Profound Heaven Alliance requested an audience.
The three went out and met Du Shao Yang and his group. Du Shao Yang relayed Song Yu's demand for the Profound Yin Nine-Leaf Lotus. Song Yu met Xie Yi and informed him of the successful negotiation. He then revealed the recently refined Terminator Profound Bombs, confirming his intention to eliminate the Dark Nether Race through a surprise attack.
Back in the hall, Qin Lie recalled Ling Yushi's previous attempt to probe Song Tingyu's mind, which resulted in a hostile reaction. He urged Ling Yushi not to try again, but she pointed out that their mysterious origins likely stemmed from the same story. To uncover the truth, Qin Lie allowed Ling Yushi to enter his mind to explore the Soul Suppressing Orb within him.
Upon entering Qin Lie's mind, Ling Yushi saw a child constrained and surrounded by three men. As she tried to approach, the men's spiritual energy attacked her, forcibly ejecting her from the dream, causing her to spit blood and collapse. Ling Yushi described her vision: four individuals, three men and a child, guarding the Orb. She recognized one of the men as Du Shao Yang, which made Qin Lie realize Du Shao Yang's inexplicable constant presence in his life.
However, Qin Lie, worried for Ling Yushi's safety, insisted she stop using this dangerous method to seek answers. The next day, Ling Yushi brought the Profound Yin Nine-Leaf Lotus to meet Song Yu for the exchange. After successfully trading the Lotus for Ku Lu, Ling Yushi attempted to broker a lasting peace for the future of both races, advocating for a return to peaceful coexistence, reminding him that human and nether ancestors once united against the God Race.
But unknown to her, at the Spiritual Lines Pillars Plaza within the Artefact Forging Sect, Song Yu had already joined forces with Xie Yi and others, using the Terminator Profound Bombs to attack the Dark Nether Race forces. Seeing explosions in the distance, Qin Lie and his companions realized Song Yu's deceit. Five major sects appeared, seeking vengeance for Qin Lie's past actions.
Song Tingyu bravely stood before Qin Lie's group, desperately buying them time to retreat, but Song Yu showed no mercy, even to his own daughter. To protect the Nether Queen, Ku Lu and Ku Luo used a secret spell, sacrificing their lives to hold off Song Yu. This allowed Qin Lie, Ling Yushi, and the Priestess to rush back to the Spiritual Lines Pillars Plaza, only to find it covered in bodies and the Nether passageway sealed.
With no escape, Song Yu's forces pursued them again. Qin Lie immediately used a spatial weapon to teleport himself, Ling Yushi, the Priestess, and the remaining few Dark Nether Race members away from the Artefact Forging Sect. Ying Xing Ran triumphantly returned to the Artefact Forging Sect's main hall, reclaiming his position as Sect Master, a smirk of satisfaction on his face.
Lang Xie, however, condemned Ying Xing Ran's betrayal, but Ying Xing Ran dismissed his words, now blinded by power. Meanwhile, Song Tingyu confronted Song Yu, announcing her intention to leave the Profound Heaven Alliance, disgusted by her father's treacherous and despicable methods. Song Yu accused her of being infatuated with Qin Lie, leading her to such a childish decision. Under his relentless questioning, Song Tingyu reluctantly admitted her feelings.
Ignoring her, Song Yu returned to his room and consumed the Profound Yin Nine-Leaf Lotus, but felt an unexpected strangeness within. Du Shao Yang handed over his Profound Yin Nine-Leaf Lotus, which Xie Yi used to restore Xie Jingxuan's consciousness. After absorbing the spirit herb, Xie Yi felt something amiss. Just then, Mo Hai entered the hall, revealing that Qin Lie, Du Shao Yang, and Mo Hai had conspired.
