Synopsis
Physics professor Tang Chuan, who works at the Criminal Police College, and middle school math teacher Shi Hong bonded in their youth over a shared passion for mathematics.
Years later, when Tang assists the police in investigating a case, Shi's neighbor Chen Jing becomes a suspect. During the investigation, Tang uncovers a deeper secret, forcing him and Shi to confront each other as adversaries.
