Li Zhicheng praised the suit as "amazing" and "really good stuff," affirming his belief in Lin Qian's abilities.
Meanwhile, in his Xinbaorui office, Ning Weikai received a report that Aida had produced their first sample garment, whose functionality matched Xinbaorui's, but at a much lower cost. Furious, Ning Weikai questioned how this was possible and learned that Aida was using Aidi Company's self-developed fabric. He berated his marketing team for their oversight and for failing to keep him informed about Aidi's capabilities, remarking that it seemed all the luck was with Li Zhicheng.
Standing by the window, Ning Weikai soon summoned a security guard named Gao Lang. Ning Weikai revealed that he knew about Gao Lang's past, including his ambition to be a soldier, his unemployment, and his association with a gangster boss. Despite Gao Lang's assurances of loyalty, Ning Weikai offered him a secret mission, promising a significant amount of money and a promotion to work directly by his side if he completed the task successfully. Then, with some hesitation, he asked if she would be his "teammate," defining it as him being the commander and her the captain, always following his lead.
Lin Qian, initially amused, accepted the role of "Captain Lin," and they toasted to their continued collaboration. As Lin Qian rose to leave, she stumbled, and Li Zhicheng quickly caught her. In the moment, she fell into his arms and kissed him, before quickly pulling away in embarrassment and fleeing the room.
