Yi Fuling is lured under false pretenses to a surprise meeting with Feng Tianyi, who takes her on a romantic flight in his flying carriage. Feng Tianyi apologizes for his past harshness, explaining it was a ploy to protect her from being implicated. They reconcile with a deep embrace, and he gifts her a handmade sky grass necklace, naming the flying carriage "Starry Sky" to commemorate their meeting.
Meanwhile, consumed by hatred, Xue Feishuang seeks out the mystical Gu Shenghua in a hidden cave, hoping she will help destroy Yi Fuling. Gu Shenghua, a being claiming to feed on flesh and resentful tears, agrees to help in exchange for Xue Feishuang's youth and beauty. After seeing Feng Tianyi and Yi Fuling's intimate moment, Xue Feishuang confirms her desire for Yi Fuling's death, accepting the steep price. Gu Shenghua then inflicts the "Zhu Yan Gu" upon Yi Fuling.
Feng Ren, now recovered and reconciled with Feng Tianyi, reveals their father's dying wish: that Feng Ren serve as a loyal "scabbard" to Feng Tianyi. He also informs Feng Tianyi that Yi Fuling's Star Flow Flower mark hints at her connection to the Star Flow Flower God, a relationship crucial for the Wing Unveiling Ceremony. Their discussion is interrupted by news of Yi Fuling's sudden collapse.
Yi Fuling suffers terribly from the Zhu Yan Gu, experiencing intense pain, screaming, and even biting Feng Tianyi before losing consciousness again. Doctors are helpless. Xue Jin, a specialist in Gu poison, confirms it's the Zhu Yan Gu, which slowly consumes the victim. Feng Ren immediately orders the capture of Xue Feishuang, suspecting her.
