Adapted from the novel of the same name by Tian Xia Ba Chang, the drama follows Jin Shisan, an orphan raised by his adoptive father Jin Buhuan. Together, they discover a mystical ginseng called "Shen Long Er Zhu Xiang" but it is stolen, and Jin Buhuan is brutally murdered. To avenge his father, Jin Shisan returns to the sacred mountain, only to uncover that his own origins are mysteriously linked to the Mountain Deity.

Synopsis
