Han Liuhai thanked Xiang Mankui for her help in the competition and, despite her hand injury, assured her that the Han family would always welcome her as family. After dinner, An Chuxia thanked Xiang Mankui for her help during the plagiarism accusation. Xiang Mankui downplayed her role, saying An Chuxia had proven herself, and revealed she’d kept her promise not to disclose her hand injury.
The conversation turned to An Chuxia’s future plans with Han Qilu regarding her studies at Pinkston in France. Xiang Mankui admitted that given another chance, she would still choose France, calling Pinkston a paradise for designers. Her only regret was her past overconfidence in believing Han Qilu would understand her unexplained departure and wait for her.
She reassured An Chuxia that she had given up on Han Qilu and encouraged her to talk to him openly, urging her to hold onto what mattered most. An Chuxia confessed to being a big fan of Xiang Mankui, who in turn admired An Chuxia’s talent and perseverance, looking forward to them becoming design rivals in the future. He couldn't concern himself with "trivialities" like love while resolving these issues peacefully.
Stung by his use of "trivialities," An Chuxia, feigning strength, told him she wouldn't complicate things further, wished him success, and formally addressed him as "Young Master Han" before leaving. As An Chuxia walked away, Han Qilu watched her go before collapsing to the ground. Meanwhile, Meng Xiaonan mysteriously brought Jiang Chenchuan to the school sports field to showcase a band she and Feng Shao had assembled.
The performance was terrible, and soon the band members received calls and left; one had a broken guitar string, another had clients, a third's brother was in trouble, and Feng Shao was called away for a movie. The impromptu band quickly disbanded. Meng Xiaonan cried, blaming herself, but Jiang Chenchuan comforted her, embracing her warmly. Ling Hanyu found Han Qilu slumped on the ground on the rooftop. Jiang Yuanyuan thanked An Chuxia for her care, urged her to take care of herself, and promised to send anything she needed, conveying Han Liuhai's well wishes. She still hoped Han Qilu would appear, but Meng Xiaonan informed her he’d left early and his whereabouts were unknown, speculating he didn't want to come. Jiang Chenchuan expressed disbelief at Han Qilu’s cowardice and asked if he knew the extent of An Chuxia’s sacrifice. Han Qilu questioned his meaning; Jiang Chenchuan revealed the truth: the Han family’s design plan passed because An Chuxia had made a deal with Jiang He. The condition was that An Chuxia would go to France, win or lose. Jiang Chenchuan emphasized that An Chuxia, despite disliking his uncle, agreed without hesitation for Han Qilu and his family.
Han Qilu was stunned. Jiang Chenchuan, citing his family name, urged him to chase after An Chuxia immediately, warning him of lifelong regret. Realizing the truth, Han Qilu rushed off, but it was too late. Later, Meng Xiaonan asked Jiang Chenchuan why he’d helped Han Qilu. He said he was helping his sister, hoping she would find happiness. Han Qilu returned to the blackboard wall outside An Chuxia’s old home.
He reflected on their journey, from their first meeting to falling in love, before writing, "An Chu Xia I love you." Turning around, he saw An Chuxia. He thought it was a dream, but she confirmed her presence, explaining that her flight to France had been canceled due to bad weather, delaying her departure for a few days. When An Chuxia pretended to leave, Han Qilu called her back. She playfully questioned why, but when he insisted, he declared, "I love you." After many trials and misunderstandings, they were finally together.
