> Lost in The Kunlun Mountains Recap

After Luo Jiutian was kidnapped by Ding Yunqi's men, he was interrogated by Ding Yunqi and Wu Shuang. Luo Jiutian revealed that the dragon bone was now with his adopted sister, Chu Fengling, and explained his complicated family situation, noting that Chu Fengling and Luo Yunsong are biological siblings who were adopted by his father, and he himself holds little status in the family.

Since Luo Jiutian no longer possessed the dragon bone, Ding Yunqi, preferring not to use such coercive methods, decided to release him, much to Sun Sanxuan's disapproval. Ding Yunqi affirmed his intention to retrieve the dragon bone on his own terms. Meanwhile, Chu Fengling questioned her brother, Luo Yunsong, about his plans for Ding Yunqi.

Luo Yunsong calmly stated that if Ding Yunqi refused to surrender, he would be shot, a declaration that deeply shocked and disturbed Chu Fengling, who found his attitude to be excessively cruel. Chu Fengling then conveyed a message from "Her Ladyship," emphasizing that the Kunlun Mountains belonged to the nation and only members of the Ding family knew its location. Therefore, both Ding Yuanshan and Ding Yunqi should be kept alive to serve the country.

Luo Yunsong dismissed her concerns, expressing his desire for her to lead a simple life, marry, and have children, keeping her away from these dangerous affairs. Chu Fengling, however, countered that women should have their own careers and refused to hand over the dragon bone, stating she still needed to study the inscriptions on it. Later that night, Ding Yunqi and Wu Shuang attempted to secretly retrieve the dragon bone from Luo Yunsong's residence.

Despite Wu Shuang's initial misgivings about the unusual quietness, they entered the mansion only to fall into a carefully laid ambush. Sun Sanxuan arrived just in time to assist Wu Shuang in escaping, but Ding Yunqi was captured. Wu Shuang, following Sanxuan's instructions to seek help from their master, quickly retreated, while Sanxuan pledged to gather their fellow brothers in Shanghai. Luo Yunsong then confronted Ding Yunqi, revealing the deep-seated family vendetta.

He recounted how, twenty years ago, his father, mother, and a sister were all killed by Ding Yuanshan. As proof, he showed Ding Yunqi a distinctive dart, a weapon unique to the Ding family, which he claimed to have found on his mother's body. Ding Yunqi vehemently denied his father's involvement, insisting that Ding Yuanshan never harmed women or children and suggesting there was a misunderstanding, which might allow the real culprit to escape justice.

Luo Yunsong, however, rejected Ding Yunqi's arguments, declaring that Ding Yuanshan's past actions were self-inflicted. He viewed Ding Yunqi's capture as an unexpected but welcome development, as Ding Yuanshan alone could not atone for the deaths of three family members, implying both father and son would pay the blood debt. Luo Yunsong made it clear he would not kill Ding Yunqi immediately, intending to use him to lure Ding Yuanshan out.

Back at the money house, a distraught Wu Shuang pleaded with her master, Zhou Qiuhai, to rescue Ding Yunqi. Zhou Qiuhai remained composed, explaining that Luo Yunsong would not kill Ding Yunqi, as his true objective was Ding Yuanshan, and Ding Yunqi's death would serve no purpose. He planned to wait for Ding Yuanshan's appearance before initiating a rescue.

As a punishment for her reckless actions, Zhou Qiuhai ordered Wu Shuang to be confined for seven days with only one meal a day. Undeterred, Wu Shuang declared her resolve to rescue Ding Yunqi herself if her master refused to help. After a heated argument where Wu Shuang passionately argued that saving Ding Yunqi was a matter of faith and righteousness, Zhou Qiuhai reluctantly permitted her to go, albeit with a warning to be cautious.

Meanwhile, Chu Fengling, unwilling to see Ding Yunqi perish at her brother's hand, devised her own plan. She approached He Biao, a guard, feigning sadness and coaxing him to drink with her. She secretly drugged his drink, causing him to lose consciousness. Then, she instructed the housekeeper, Auntie Hei, to distribute drugged tea and snacks to the other guards, rendering them all unconscious. Following Chu Fengling's instructions, Auntie Hei released Ding Yunqi.

When Ding Yunqi asked his rescuer for their identity and motives, the person simply stated they were acting on "someone's request." Sun Sanxuan and San Jin were still planning Ding Yunqi's rescue, discussing strategies such as using knockout drops and the necessity of an insider, when Ding Yunqi unexpectedly returned. He explained that an "unexpected person," who was not strictly an "insider," had helped him escape by drugging the guards.

He gave San Jin a sum of gold bars, urging him to find a safe place and distance himself from these dangerous affairs. Ding Yunqi then revealed to Sanxuan the true complexity of the situation: Luo Yunsong's motive was a deep-seated desire for revenge, believing Ding Yunqi's father murdered three of his family members. Furthermore, Chu Fengling, his rescuer, had arranged a meeting for the morning, and Ding Yunqi intended to attend to understand her true intentions.

Upon discovering that Chu Fengling had released Ding Yunqi, Luo Yunsong was enraged. He ordered her to pack her belongings for Tianjin, and then for France, intending to send her abroad to keep her out of these perilous matters. Chu Fengling, feigning profound distress, tearfully pleaded with her brother, reminding him that he was her only remaining family and recounting how she had been bullied when alone abroad.

Softened by her emotional appeal, Luo Yunsong relented and agreed not to send her away, on the condition that she promised not to interfere in Ding Yunqi's affairs again. As a sign of her commitment, she handed the dragon bone over to him. Later, Chu Fengling, seeing He Biao still recovering from the drugged drink, gently told him to rest. Determined to save Ding Yunqi, Wu Shuang left the money house.

As she sat outside, pondering how to proceed without her master's assistance, she spotted Ding Yunqi leaving the bell tower, hailing a rickshaw, and heading toward the Steven Restaurant. She quickly hailed another rickshaw and followed him, asking her driver about the destination, who informed her it was a restaurant for foreigners.
