He Fanxing and the other two chatted a bit more. Yang Xiaoyu asked why He Canyang didn't join the chat. Song Xue's expression changed and she hung up the phone. It turned out Song Xue was in He Canyang's car and they were preparing to catch someone cheating. At school, while Cai Minmin was feeling down, Da Tou was a bit confused.
Liu Zhanni told him that Cai Minmin had confessed her feelings to He Canyang and was rejected by him. Da Tou was very surprised. Cai Minmin told them that she found out He Canyang and Song Xue went to a hotel and was worried that Song Xue and He Canyang's old feelings would rekindle. The more Cai Minmin thought about it, the sadder she became. She sent a text message to test He Canyang.
He Canyang lied and said he was at home, which made Cai Minmin even sadder. He Canyang put down his phone and started chatting with Song Xue. He Canyang said he had received a handwritten love letter from a girl and that he had rejected her. He Canyang didn't mention Cai Minmin's name. Song Xue was a bit curious, wondering why someone like He Canyang would refuse a confession from a girl he liked.
Just as Ye Luming was preparing for a date with He Fanxing, Ye Luming's sister, Ye Caiwei, suddenly showed up, bringing a girl named Du Yue. Ye Caiwei didn't believe Ye Luming had actually won over He Fanxing and asked Ye Luming to prove it to her. Ye Caiwei wanted to set up Du Yue and Ye Luming. Ye Luming quickly said He Fanxing would be here soon, but Ye Caiwei didn't believe him.
After Ye Luming took Du Yue to cook, He Fanxing arrived. As soon as He Fanxing heard that Ye Luming's sister was there, she was so scared she wanted to run. Ye Luming quickly pulled He Fanxing into the house. Ye Caiwei looked He Fanxing over curiously, questioning her about her family situation and asking when she planned to get married.
He Fanxing quickly explained that her relationship with Ye Luming hadn't developed to the point of marriage yet, but Ye Caiwei kept talking about marriage. He Fanxing felt somewhat at a loss, and Ye Luming was a little embarrassed, urging Ye Caiwei to quickly change the topic. After Ye Caiwei left with Du Yue, Ye Luming was worried that He Fanxing might be angry.
He Fanxing wasn't angry, she just said she wasn't psychologically prepared and didn't know how to handle that situation. Ye Luming comforted her for a few sentences and asked He Fanxing if she had been angry or jealous just now. He Fanxing hadn't felt that way at all. Just as He Fanxing was about to get some cold medicine for Ye Luming, she accidentally slipped onto the sofa, pulling Ye Luming down with her.
As they were in an awkward situation, Ye Caiwei suddenly returned, having forgotten her phone. Seeing them like that, she quickly grabbed her phone and left. Song Xue and He Canyang waited for a long time at the hotel and finally caught Shen Fanfan and Xiao Kou cheating. He Canyang questioned Shen Fanfan on how he planned to resolve it.
Shen Fanfan promised that this was the last time he would meet Xiao Kou, that he wouldn't dance anymore in the future, and that he would work hard to earn money and support his family. Seeing that Shen Fanfan had no remorse for Yang Xiaoyu, He Canyang was enraged and started hitting Shen Fanfan hard. Song Xue quickly stopped He Canyang, afraid that He Canyang would injure Shen Fanfan and Yang Xiaoyu would find out.
Song Xue severely reprimanded Shen Fanfan. Shen Fanfan begged Song Xue not to tell Yang Xiaoyu. Considering Yang Xiaoyu's mood as she was about to give birth, Song Xue told Shen Fanfan to wait until Yang Xiaoyu had given birth and finished her confinement period, then find a time to tell Yang Xiaoyu himself, letting Yang Xiaoyu decide whether to forgive Shen Fanfan or not. Song Xue no longer listened to Shen Fanfan's pleading and left with He Canyang. He Fanxing returned home. Dad He patiently advised He Fanxing not to blame Mom He, saying that Mom He had silently done a lot for her children behind the scenes. Dad He asked He Fanxing to appease Mom He. He Fanxing felt a bit sad and apologized to Mom He.
