Orchid happily returned to Arbiter Hall and shared Lord Changheng’s praise with Dongfang Qingcang. Seeing her happy, Dongfang Qingcang felt a pang of discomfort in his heart. Shang Que asked whether he wanted to urge Orchid to continue restoring the Destiny Books, but, unusually, Dongfang Qingcang considered her well-being, fearing she’d tire or get hurt.

Danyin discovered a firefly stone on Fairy Yulin and accused her of stealing from Lord Changheng. Yulin lied, claiming Lord Changheng gave it to her, and tried to snatch it back. Danyin refused, and the two argued. Qingchuan rushed forward to stop them, but unexpectedly, Lord Yunzhong appeared. In the main hall, Yulin insisted the firefly stone was a gift from Lord Changheng, but he stepped forward to deny it.

Besides the truth, Lord Changheng had another reason: to protect Yulin’s life. Since his engagement to the Goddess of Mount Xi concerned the whole immortal realm, Lord Yunzhong would never tolerate anyone vying to become Lord Changheng’s woman. But in the end, she was wrong. Dongfang Qingcang also cried along with her, cursing Lord Changheng for being blind. But Orchid asked him not to speak ill of Lord Changheng.
