Hu Rong opened a suitcase and discovered the drug "Angel," confirming that the drug deal had been moved up to today. She tried to call the police, but found that neither her mobile phone nor the hotel landline could connect. Desperate, Hu Rong went to find Xiaofei, telling him, "The drug deal that Sister Mei and Lisa arranged for next Monday has been brought forward to today and the transaction is coming to its end.
Now, all communication from Golden Glory to the outside has been cut off. I'm unable to send any messages out. You are my only hope now. You must help me to get the news out or else it'll be too late." Xiaofei agreed to help, promising to think of a way and advising him to contact Han Jin once he got out.
Xiaofei then walked towards the main entrance of Golden Glory, but was stopped by security guards who informed him that Mei Jie had given strict orders that no one was allowed to leave before 6:00 p. m. Xiaofei argued, but the guards stood firm, forcing him to return inside. Hu Rong relayed the news about Lisa's drug deal being moved up and the communication blackout to Liu Ziguang and Li Jianguo.
She stressed, "We must try to delay them for as long as possible so the police can get here. We can't let Tony leave Golden Glory." They knew they had to buy time until the police arrived. Having failed to leave, Xiaofei resorted to a drastic measure. He faked a drug addiction relapse and slit his wrist. His cries for help alerted a cleaner, and the news reached Mei Jie.
Mei Jie initially intended to give him a simple bandage, but a supervisor, fearing a fatality, persuaded her to send Xiaofei to the hospital. Mei Jie reluctantly agreed. On the way to the hospital, Xiaofei secretly used his cell phone to call the police, successfully relaying the critical information. Later, after the garden barbecue, the tour group prepared to depart. The driver announced he couldn't find the bus keys.
Mei Jie arranged for Hu Rong and some men to search the garden with the driver. However, the suspicious Tony immediately demanded a different bus. Mei Jie quickly arranged for another large bus, and Tony and the other tour group members boarded the new vehicle. As the new tour bus was about to leave, Liu Ziguang swiftly jumped onto it. He held up a cell phone, asking, "May I know whose cellphone is this? Whose is it?"
Tony identified it as his own and attempted to retrieve it. Liu Ziguang refused, insisting Tony prove ownership by unlocking it. This provoked Tony, and the two quickly began to argue and fight. During the struggle, Tony knocked off Liu Ziguang's sunglasses. He then stared in disbelief, recognizing Liu Ziguang as Sangbo, a figure he had long believed to be missing. Liu Ziguang looked back at Tony with a bewildered expression.
Seeing the fight erupt inside the bus, the passengers quickly disembarked to get away. Hu Rong rushed onto the bus and pulled Lisa off. As Lisa stood stunned, Hu Rong suddenly attacked her, and the two engaged in a fierce fight. Mei Jie intervened, putting Hu Rong in a chokehold. Lisa, enraged, demanded to know who Hu Rong was. Hu Rong, with determination, declared, "I'm a police officer." Just then, Li Jianguo and Xiaobai ran over to provide backup.
Lisa seized the opportunity to commandeer a vehicle, attempting to make a getaway. Liu Ziguang and Tony continued their struggle from inside the bus to the ground outside. Eventually, Liu Ziguang held Tony firmly by the throat. Unable to break free, Tony furiously continued to shout "Sangbo." At that moment, Han Jin and other police officers arrived, sirens blaring. Tony and Lisa were apprehended, but during her fight with Lisa, Hu Rong was stabbed in the abdomen.
Liu Ziguang and Han Jin immediately rushed Hu Rong to the hospital's emergency room. Hu Yuejin arrived shortly after hearing the news. Liu Ziguang, overcome with guilt, apologized for failing to protect Hu Rong. Hu Yuejin, moved, told him he had already done more than enough for her. A nurse emerged from the operating room, stating that Hu Rong had lost a lot of blood and required a family member to donate AB type blood. Hu Yuejin hesitated.
Liu Ziguang stepped forward, declaring that he was AB type. Eventually, the doctor informed the anxious group waiting outside that Hu Rong's life had been saved. Liu Ziguang and Hu Yuejin were both tearfully relieved. Li Wan went to meet Bei Xiaoshuai, informing him that she was going abroad for company business and had come to say her goodbyes. She asked Bei Xiaoshuai to convey her farewells to Liu Ziguang and Hu Rong.
Bei Xiaoshuai, visibly saddened, managed a smile and urged Li Wan to take good care of herself while overseas. Tony later succumbed to his severe injuries and died. In a police interrogation room, Officer Zhao questioned Mei Jie. Mei Jie confessed to her criminal activities. She informed Officer Zhao that Tony and Sangbo had escaped during the open sea operation, and that Sangbo was currently in Jiangbei. She recounted hearing Tony call Liu Ziguang "Sangbo" during their altercation and mentioned that Lisa had previously stated that Hou Sihai might have been murdered by Sangbo.
