When he inquired about the person in the picture, Ming Yuan's follower admitted they didn't recognize the individual but confirmed the photo was taken from Su Nian Nian's book. Ye Xing Yu then chastised them for their pranks, stating that such trivial tricks would never deter Su Nian Nian.
He sincerely advised Ming Yuan to reflect on the extensive duties of a Monitor, suggesting that he currently lacked the capacity to lead. Ye Xing Yu assured him that once he developed the necessary abilities, Su Nian Nian would gladly yield the position. Accepting this counsel, Ming Yuan instructed his follower to discreetly return Su Nian Nian's book.
Determined to set a better example for his friends and move beyond aimless living, Ming Yuan later secured a part-time job at a car repair shop, where he impressed the owner with his skills and secured an hourly wage with daily payment. On his way home, Ye Xing Yu intervened to protect a young student who was being bullied, chasing off the aggressors and personally escorting the child home.

Just as he basked in his self-admiration, Su Nian Nian unexpectedly opened the door, leading to a startling collision. Both were momentarily stunned. At that precise moment, Xiao Huang appeared, gleefully snapping photos. He accused them of being caught in a secret relationship, ignoring their claims of a mere coincidence. He asserted that this incident was a clear follow-up to their previous "canteen incidence," which had made him delete his original post.
He declared his intention to expose their "underground love" to the entire student body, titling his new "news" as "The reunion of two lovers after a breakup."
