The students rejoiced, but Mr. Jiang Mu also reminded them that they needed to prepare three programs for an upcoming recognition conference in two weeks and, more importantly, they needed to help Gu Zi Chen regain his memory.
Gu Zi Chen, still suffering from amnesia, expressed his disbelief to Ye Xing Yu, questioning if he truly knew these people and stating that he remembered nothing. Su Nian Nian dedicated her time to caring for Gu Zi Chen while he was in a coma, a fact that deeply moved his mother, who gradually began to accept Su Nian Nian.

Later, Gu Zi Chen informed his mother of his intention to go back to America. His mother reacted strongly, reminding him that he had once been willing to cut ties with her to be with Su Nian Nian, only to now deny knowing her.
She recounted how Su Nian Nian meticulously cared for him in the hospital, from washing his face to trimming his nails. Gu Zi Chen, puzzled, questioned why his mother, who once had such high standards for a daughter-in-law, would now accept Su Nian Nian, who didn't meet those criteria. His mother admitted her previous dislike but explained she had realized her mistake, emphasizing Su Nian Nian’s good qualities and urging Gu Zi Chen not to hurt or disappoint her.
She eventually conceded that she would not pressure him regarding Su Nian Nian if he agreed to stay and continue his studies at Qun Ying University. Determined to help Gu Zi Chen recover, Su Nian Nian was willing to try any method. Ye Xing Yu, also keen on helping, approached Su Nian Nian with a plan to stimulate Gu Zi Chen's memory by having her pretend to be locked in the equipment room, echoing a past incident.
Su Nian Nian was hesitant, fearing Gu Zi Chen wouldn't believe it, but Ye Xing Yu insisted, assuring her that if he came, it would prove his feelings for her. Su Nian Nian called Gu Zi Chen, feigning distress, and he rushed to the school. As she waited in the dark room, Ye Xing Yu spoke from outside, expressing his long-standing admiration for her since high school and her inspiring bravery at Qun Ying.
Gu Zi Chen soon arrived and rescued her, but he remained cold, accusing them all of treating him like a fool and questioning if they found it amusing. Gu Zi Chen found himself wrestling with internal conflict. He realized that Ye Xing Yu harbored feelings for Su Nian Nian, and he felt that pursuing a relationship with Su Nian Nian would deeply hurt his friend. This belief fueled his detachment towards Su Nian Nian's attempts to help him.
Ye Xing Yu later apologized for the prank, and Gu Zi Chen, showing a flicker of curiosity, asked him to recount what had happened during his period of amnesia. Later, Gu Zi Chen found himself drawn to the school lake, though he couldn't explain why. He told Su Nian Nian that he sensed Ye Xing Yu cared for her deeply and hoped they would get together.

In a last-ditch effort, and despite being unable to swim, Su Nian Nian threw herself into the water. Gu Zi Chen, witnessing her leap, immediately jumped in after her.
As he pulled her out, the memories of their past, like a film, flashed through his mind. Gu Zi Chen looked at Su Nian Nian and, with deep emotion, declared that he remembered everything, embracing her as she shed tears of joy. Xiao Huang and Xiao Qiang, now operating a school news outlet focused on positive energy, reported on Su Nian Nian and Gu Zi Chen's reconciliation, celebrating Gu Zi Chen's memory recovery.
Gu Zi Chen later thanked his classmates and Mr. Jiang Mu for their help, expressing gratitude for meeting them. Mr. Jiang Mu announced that Qun Ying University was undergoing a revitalization, with over a hundred new students expected next semester. The school then held a grand recognition conference. During the event, Mr. Jiang Mu discreetly informed the Principal that Dr. Jin Yun was pregnant.
The Principal praised his efficiency, but Mr. Jiang Mu clarified that he and Dr. Jin Yun had actually gotten their marriage certificate earlier, keeping it a secret to surprise everyone at their wedding. He asked the Principal to be their wedding witness. The Principal then addressed the students, praising Mechanical Class II for winning the national scientific competition with their "Wisdom Pouch," announcing that the product would be commercially launched during the summer break.
Following this, Ye Xing Yu performed an original song, dedicating it to his classmates and teachers, expressing his appreciation for their time together and the beautiful memories created. His performance cemented his status as a popular star. Reflecting on their journey, Su Nian Nian confessed to Gu Zi Chen her initial disdain for Qun Ying University and its students, whom she once perceived as directionless.
Now, she realized each person possessed unique strengths and passions, from mechanics to computers, and she genuinely loved them all. She then confessed that the person she once disliked the most upon arriving at Qun Ying was now the person she loved most, and who loved her most—Gu Zi Chen. He affirmed her words, affectionately calling her "My Highness, Class Monitor."
Meanwhile, other couples like Zhao Ming Yuan and Yin Chuxia, and Song Yuxi and Zhu Cheng, also found happiness, with Song Yuxi even celebrating the birth of baby mice in their care.
