Su Nian Nian quietly shed tears as she recalled her past with Gu Zi Chen, forcing herself to suppress her emotions and forget the pain he caused. She decided to focus on her life and projects, believing that without romance, she would have more energy for important endeavors. Despite her attempts to move on, she couldn't help but be affected by gossip. Ye Xing Yu noticed her distress and offered comfort, telling her to ignore those who criticized her.
He assured her that he would always support her, no matter what. Meanwhile, Song Yuxi went to work at the coffee shop, unaware of Xu Jia's deceitful intentions. He encouraged her to leave early, feigning concern for her well-being by suggesting she looked pale. Naively, Song Yuxi believed his tender words and happily left for school. However, a group of three women soon intercepted her, exposing Xu Jia as a manipulative scumbag who was simultaneously dating all of them.
Song Yuxi was initially in disbelief, but her suspicions grew when Xu Jia called one of the women, allowing Song Yuxi to hear his sweet talk. The furious women began to physically assault Xu Jia, leaving him defenseless.
Song Yuxi watched the chaotic scene, a bitter smile gracing her lips, before turning and leaving the cafe for good. Later, a despondent Song Yuxi was found weeping on a garden bench by Zhu Cheng. Upon hearing she was lovelorn, Zhu Cheng initially burst into joyous laughter, quickly trying to compose himself and offer comfort while secretly celebrating. Finding no sympathy there, Song Yuxi turned to Su Nian Nian, who, drawing from her own recent heartbreak, urged her to stop crying and focus on her studies. Song Yuxi revealed Xu Jia had been juggling multiple relationships, causing her friends to tease her about finally experiencing what she used to do to others. Su Nian Nian noticed the unusual behavior of the Qun Ying San Jie (The Three Remarkable of Qun Ying), who had been frequently skipping classes.
She tasked Song Yuxi with investigating and discovered that Zhao Mingyuan, their leader, was being forced to pay a hefty 100,000 yuan in compensation for the damaged car repair shop. To help him avoid dropping out, his close friends Chen Yuan and Zhu Cheng were discreetly working multiple jobs. At that moment, He Mei appeared and arrogantly offered a bank card, contemptuously telling him to use it to pay his debt. Gu Zi Chen pulled He Mei away, urging her to ignore them. Later that day, a strange woman suddenly appeared, embracing a shocked Yin Chuxia and claiming to be her mother.
