He feared that if his maternal grandfather, Gu Shiheng, was involved, he would have been a loser from childhood, never able to win against him.
Yet, for Shi Shuangjiao's sake, he was determined to uncover the truth and seek justice, even if it meant risking his life. Lu Xian supported his resolve to find the truth.
